The good. : Exceptional location. Great hotel concept- large unique rooms with history and charm. Fast valley service. Breakfast buffet looked very tasty with great selections. The bad: Loud on the weekend, not family friendly in my opinion. No coffee maker in rooms, no complimentary coffee that one would expect in a luxury hotel. Hotel staff service is short of luxury - ownership would need to invest more in training and staff appreciation to render luxury service to guests. If you don’t mind noise and so so service I’d recommend the hotel because of location and charm. For my taste I will stay in a chain hotel the next time. At least I know what to expect.

Location, location, location! If you want to be in the heart of downtown then this one of the best places you can get. The main building is beautiful. We attended a wedding cocktail in the second "patio", it was astonishing. If you are looking for attention to details, warmth & appreciation, or a luxury hotel then go somewhere else... DON'T get the breakfast there, the food variety and quality is below average and overpriced - go around the corner, by the alley besides the hotel and there's a great place: "Breton"; for dinner you have good option right in front of the hotel. DON'T stay in "Torre B", the rooms look amazing for if you look closer you'll soon realize the tacky finishing; you can hear other rooms' noises, people walking in the stairs and hallways, and the workers hanging out in the common areas with their music out loud; if you go out at night you would need to walk first to the main building and ask for someone to open "Torre B"; our room didn't have windows, so the room was dark and with no natural ventilation; the A/C didn't work; the room smell like fart when we first stepped in and the shower floor was dusty... The overall experience was frustrating, no luxury hotel at all, over-priced and poor quality.

I came here to have breakfast but the orange juice was bad, it tasted horrible, I asked for two different drinks because of the orange juice but they didn’t have any. They took too long to take my order, I waited for too long and the food I ordered wasn’t even good. The bathrooms are dirty.

Think twice about eating here. Poor service. Drinks took 45 minutes, both the indoor and outdoor restaurants were empty. Ordered guacamole, did not arrive. Reminded the hostess almost an hour after, and it arrived almost an hour after sitting. After an hour and 30 minutes and two previous complaints, we did not get our food. Worse, other customers arrived 20 after us and got their food not long after. Asked to speak with the manager who offered the food at no charge, but we refused as it felt like a handout. We did, however, pay for our drinks. In all fairness, we were not hotel guests. But should that matter?

Slow check in, hair dryer not working, toilet not flushing, no telephone in room, don't answer at reception as we tried to get a wakeup call. All in all, looks nice, but quality is sub standard

I'm not sure how this hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel. Aesthetically, it's a nice building. It's spacious and the girl at the lobby, Valentina, was helpful. Water is hot. Cons: the toilet paper was moldy. I didn't even know toilet paper could get mold. The AC doesn't have an auto mode. It's either on all night or off all night. Even if it's on all night, it doesn't get to the set temperature. The bed is low, the mattress is hard. I believe the bedsheets that were here the first night had not been changed in a long time. They smelled dusty, they were raspy and sounded like paper. The shower was dirty, the mirror and shower glass were dirty as well. I wouldn't stay here again.

Outstanding service and effort by the hotel staff. Rooms are solid, but service was the best I have seen (significant international travel). Had numerous rooms reserved for a wedding, but the front office, and the food and bar staff were outstanding at helping non-spanish speakers. I will absolutely stay the next time I'm in Queretaro.
