Hermoso lugar ,aún excelente precio ,super recomendable

Chambre spacieuse, propre et plutôt bien isolé. Proche de l'avenue principal et des restaurants donc forcément bruyant jusqu'à tard dans la nuit. Tony est un hôte adorable et disponible, nous avons appréciés notre séjour jusqu'à ce qu'il nous réclame ' la propina ou tip' que l'on laisse dans les restaurants généralement et s'est montré très insistant en nous disant que c'était pour payer la femme de ménage alors que nous avons déjà payé ce service lors de notre reservation sur airbnb. Il nous réclamait 1000 pesos soit 50 euros environ... Ce que nous avons refusé. Sur cette île tout est très chère et le tourisme de masse fait que les locaux reclament de l'argent beaucoup d'argent dans chaque lieu de service.

Worst experience renting car in holbox. Better to use taxis. We rented a golf car which didnt work as it should. We had trouble every day to turn it on. The last day we had a flat tire and nobody answered in the principal office to assist. When we returned the car the lady on the front desk started to laugh of all our complains and charge us the full ammount with out any disccount for all inconveniences we had.

We had an overall positive experience taking a tour to snorkel with whale sharks with Glendy. Our hotel, Las Nubes, put us in touch with the company, who were able to arrange a trip for the next day. Weather conditions were near-perfect and we travelled as a group of 10 on a full boat. The journey to the best site for whale shark spotting, at the confluence is two ocean currents, was 60 minutes away so it’s worth planning your trip for a day when you know weather is good and seas are calm. (I’m not convinced the trip would be enjoyable in rough seas and I question the safety of the small tour boats in this environment.) Our guides were experienced and helpful and the trip was carried out with full approvals from the regularity authorities who help to enforce rules on tour operators to prevent overcrowding. On the day that we travelled, sightings were few and far between and 15 boats ended up congregating at the same site. All kept a safe distance back from the fish and swimmers took turns slowly two at a time from each boat. It’s preferable to book with an operator that will take a smaller group on an independent trip, but on this occasion these operators were all completely booked out for the whole week and there is a much greater chance of spending the day searching in vain for whale sharks and returning home disappointed. We stopped for lunch at a beautiful stretch of beach at the northeastern tip of Holbox and saw manta rays, dolphins and flamingos along the way.

Make sure you have a back up plan, cause this place will confirm your reservation but will NOT Honor it. He (Antonio) is not very helpful either, kinda of a D***. Ruined our stay.

We (couple) had a very good time at Mi Viejo Chit. It’s just four apartments which are managed by a guy next to it. He’s very nice and his English is okay. You can pay by card at the location. When we arrived we really had to look for the guy, because the door was locked. But just call the number you have with your booking and he’ll come outside. We had one of the apartments above. Quality was good, not perfect, but it had everything you would need. There’s a fridge, a tv with HDMI, a tosti maker, a microwave, a cabinet , some soaps etc. The balcony is very nice and you have two chairs per apartment. Unfortunately, there is no separation between the balconies of the two apartments, so you’ll practically have to share the appartement . Cleaning personnel comes in every day and that is necessary because of all the sand you take in (Holbox is one big sandy island without roads). Value for money is good, if you just need a good place to crash through the day, sleep and hang out, it’s a good spot. Don’t expect something special, it’s just good. Finally, the location is perfect! Right beside the middle. So not completely in the middle of all the noise, but close at everything.
