The pool wasn't working in a long weekend
The restaurant was only open for breakfast, there was not even ice available after.
The pillows were dreadful, horrible.
Apart from those details the hotel has potential to be a lot better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property was beautiful but had several issues. The first night we had no towels in our room. Called the receptionist the next morning and he didn’t understand any English. Shouldn’t advertise bilingual. The WiFi is not in the rooms, just in the lobby-what’s up with that? Bedding in the room always felt damp. Breakfast was basically eggs and beans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing about this hotel are the views and the external landscaping. No WiFi available in the rooms and poor WiFi except around the reception and main public areas of the hotel. Rooms have no a/c and no fans. The only meals available are breakfast and that starts at 8:30 on the weekend, so good luck trying to eat and then getting any activity done early. Two Star hotel at best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel has an incredible view and nice facilities. My rating goes by the fact that staff is minimal. Which makes service slow. The pool was cold in two days and they never turned the heater on. One night. At midnight maintanance staff put a ladder and climbes to fix things on the roof of my suite. In general the staff tries to make your stay nice and comfortable, but many things happen that make it a bittersweet experience. The distance to downtown is short to take a walk, at least on the way downtown as returning might be a bit steep and hard on the legs. But overall is a nice walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's simple and rustic which is part of its charm. It has a complimentary breakfast (the chilaquiles rojos are delicious) coffee is so so. There is a pool, though with the current weather it's not really appetizing; its garden is very beautiful. Room service is prompt. Parking is limited and the drive up to the hotel through the steep, narrow streets may be a hassle. The view the hotel has of the town is wondeful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent view. Big spacious room , big garden with much trees - good weather made it worth for our family to stay. Downtown is far and way going down is possible but way back is too steep. We had car so not a problem for us but if planning to drive into the city without a car that it is worth mentioning. No food options Available nearby.
