El Hotel Misión esta dentro de un antiguo viñedo y a un costado se encuentra la histórica iglesia de la misión, con su altar original que data de los mediados del año 1700 y que se encuentra aún intacto. La Villa fue fundada en 1694 por misioneros Jesuitas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally loved the place. Be warned, there's no internet there. That fact makes the place even more comfortable for me. You can really "disconnect" from the world and its problems for a brief time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have excellent service. They have tours and activities timed so you can arrive from the train El Chepe and be able to tour the town. They pick you and drop you off to the train station in Bahuichivo.
Food has good flavor but is nothing special that is why I give it 4 stars. Also note that the pool is tiny, but it was good enough for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is located in a former Jesuit mission. It is very unique.. However the rooms are very small and have no heat. You have to light a wood stove in your room. It gets quite cold at night The fire in the stove will go out and you wake up to a very cold room .The hotel is not very quite expensive. The breakfast and supper were quite good.

I would definitely recommend the optional walk to the hidden waterfall, Juan is entertaining and educational even if you don't speak Spanish.
