About Hotel Mision Mazatlan

•  Consejo Ciudadano

•  Club Skäl

The hotel has beach access, gym, meeting room a nice restaurant (tacos gobernador are delicious!!), pretty view but I find unacceptable two aspects: the shower was really damaged and if you want a good internet access you must pay. I dont search for any other option, but I find this one a bad price/quality choice. I didn't had a bad experience at all but definitely i will look for another hotel next time

Awesome view. Friendly staff. Nice decent rooms. Only issue I had was when ladies came in the morning, they knocked then walked in. My bf was in his boxers when he heard the knock, Before he could grab a towel to answer the door, they opened it. I felt that that was very rude and invading our privacy. They weren't even coming in to clean the room yet, they were just checking to see if we were in the room which made no sense. If that wouldn't have happened, I wouldve given them 5⭐

This was sadly one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced. Aside from the poor maintenance (not pictured on official sites), the service was deceitful and unacceptable. After first arriving to the room, I found a mystery substance on the floor. I asked the front desk staff to call someone to clean the floor and they told me I was mistaken — that the floor was burned from a fire, but that they would send someone anyway to check. An hour later, I returned to the room to find the mystery substance still on the floor. After calling again, the front desk staff told me that the floor was actually scratched. It took three requests before someone cleaned the mystery substance off the floor. The person who cleaned it promised me the whole room would be cleaned appropriately the next day. The next day, I arrived back to the hotel after having been out all day to find that the room had not been cleaned at all. In fact, the toilet had flooded. I again had to call the front desk multiple times before someone arrived to do the cleaning. In addition to the lack of cleaning and coordination, the physical condition of the room is unacceptable. The bathtub is rusting and it’s paint is chipping. The towel rack and shower hand rail are broken. There is mold on the ceiling. The only accesible electrical outlet for the coffee maker is on the floor. I found piles of trash in the hall. The wooden steps in the hall are falling apart from termites! And only one elevator was functional. If I had arrived to the room itself at a reasonable hour to see this mess I would have quickly demanded a refund and found another room. But as it was late at night, I stuck it out. Take my advice and find another hotel if you’re in Mazatlan. At $85 a night, this is outrageous.

Pictures are very deceiving, the furniture is old, dirty, sheets are old and stained, and the bathroom is falling apart. We booked through a second party and when we tried to cancel, instead of giving us a reasonable explanation they just went around and around the bushes. We called to cancel since we were not going to make it. Staff lied to us about never hearing from the place we booked from and when we contacted the booking party they had records that showed they just open the emails but never replied so we lost our money. Very very disappointed!!! DON’T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL.

STAY AWAY! The worst hotel. Tried to make a one night cancellation ahead of time through Booking.com because we lost our connection flight. Booking.com did let me know they notified them about the cancellation before reservation time, but they only opened and read the notification and resolved nothing. They have tried reaching out to them plenty of times before but they have been ignored. I was charged and they completely turned a blind eye. Long story short, after giving in due to jet lag on the next day and the need for a room, I had to pay again. They will scam you and get away with it. Property is old, outdated, and totally NOT worth the money. Rooms are not clean. Pictures are SO deceiving. Please TRUST ME on that. Won’t be staying here again. Customer service needs to step it up. Staff in reception is incompetent and the guy in charge of reservations lacks professionalism and ethics… completely lied to our faces, left us (ran away) with a mediocre explanation, took advantage that our reservation had ended and left us with the excuse that they did not receive anything from them. Until I got Booking.com on the phone that I realized they read the request and ignored other 30 emails from them. Power went out during the rest of our stay the next morning and they were not kind enough to notify their guests. FILTHY and a DISAPPOINTMENT. Is this worth $90 to you?
