Hotel Misión San Gil - 76821 San Juan del Río

Location was good to attend the wedding in a near hotel. Rooms were clean and nice but matress and bathroom feels and looks a little bit old. Employees at the lobby didn't know the places around, like the church I was looking for that was 5 min Walking from the hotel, better ask the bellboy.

Staff is the best!! They are great,i love the great attention to detail,the lady that cleaned my room was cecy she left my room extremely clean! Beautiful views ,food is good but it can be better,it is fresh . Clean hotel , great for kids ,amazing staff❤

Installations were clean. I really enjoyed the stay and recommend it 100% The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because when doing the check-in they didn't have in system my payment which I made it days before

I was just one night at the hotel and the service was excellent, regular rooms are ok, nothing really special but nothing to complain. Food in the restaurant is good but as any other hotel restaurant it is a little bit expensive. It has a nice pool and gardens with and old style.

So, I booked a couple of nights to enjoy time with my boyfriend’s family, and we didn’t know this would be the worst. At night, as I was turning down my bed to go to sleep, I found a pair of cockroach legs in the sheets. It should be noted that there is no phone in the room, so my boyfriend called from his room to a call center of the Mission hotels, where he complained and asked to change our room, to which they replied yes and gave us no further response. As we gathered our things and waited for someone to arrive to change our room, half an hour passed without any response. My boyfriend and I went to the reception, where we were not asked for an apology or anything, the receptionist simply told us "take your key and bring me the other one", in a rude and haughty tone. NO ONE CAME TO HELP US WITH OUR BAGS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS. After that, when I checked the new room I found that the blankets were dirty with a dripping liquid, we were very disgusted, but we were already tired, cause all this happened at 1 am, so we just decided to take off the blankets and just sleep. In my opinion, there are much cheaper and better quality hotels in San Juan del Rio, than this one; if you are planning to stay here, think about it and don't do it; the cleanliness really leaves much to be desired, and even more with this covid issue, is it that they don't even change the sheets and sanitize after a guest leaves the hotel?

They have dynamics rates the call it, my first night was too expensive than the other 3, food was ok, water was a lil bit cold even the hot one, the place was ok you can hear the trucks in the rooms near to highway , before booking always ask if the breakfast is included, and dont book the whole entire nights when you about to go for the last night ask for additional night and they will give you a discount, of course the won't tell you until you paid and is gonna be good for the next time, didnt like that policy.
