Would not stay at this place again. Staff was not very helpful at all. Bathroom floor tiles were very slippery my wife suffered a fall and fractured her left knee. I went down to the front desk to ask for some ice to aid my wife, the front desk guy told me we don't have but you can ask at the restaurant. One would expect them to at least reach out for the ice pack. I was moved from room #24 to #5 and this room was in such a poor condition so bad that there were some huge mosquitos entering our room from under and above the main room door, the bed was hard "not comfy at all" the moles on the walls were terrible, the toilet had no toilet seat and was dirty, shower head dirty as hell, all can be seen in my photos. can see in. The only good thing about this place is the location and the air conditioning.

Budget (hotel) in a great location. It's funny outside there's a sign of s 4* hotel (scam). No services at all, no reception (just a bar with a computer) and poorly maintained. I got a deal (29 usd) so no complaint but with few more dollars you can get something much better. I paid and change hotel. Not even decent.

Dirty. The place is really pretty on the outside but once you step into the room, the vibe changes. Really outdated and not welcoming. Not even worth 3 stars. Don’t stay here, I couldn’t stand being 10 minutes in the room. The mattress were brown and there was hair everywhere. So gross.

Absolutely love the staff. Everyone is caring from the receptionist to the waiter. If you are an American they will help you. They will be kind to you & understanding. I highly recommend this hotel in Merida because of the staff alone amazing, amazing people 10 Stars

The photos are deceiving and nothing except for the pool and exterior looks the same. The rooms are spacious and clean and immediately across the street a very good restaurant LA Chaya Maya. The restaurant on site is NO good. The hotel is in a perfect walking location to the main plaza and surrounding sites.

For your money this is a pretty good hotel but it has a few quirks that some people may not be willing to overlook. Its clean enough, the rooms have air conditioning, its located dead center of town, there is lots of parking next to it, there is free WiFi and the exterior architecture is visually pleasing. On the down side the rooms are fairly small, very spartan and they could use some detail work. For example, you will see mold on the bathroom ceilings, the beds are pretty cheap and the sink in the bedroom thing is a bit strange. Also there is no safe in the room, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful but a good number of them don't speak any, or very little, English. There are no hallways and your bedroom door (especially on the ground level) points directly at the reception and the courtyard where other guests are often hanging out. The restaurant is very small and the breakfast is not included in your room rate. The pool is pretty small and more like a dipping pool than a swimming one. Overall an OK budget hotel, that will be ok for some but unacceptable to others

This is a low-end hotel in the center of Merida. The rooms lacked charm, cleanliness, and hot water. Our A/C was not working until we had someone set it up for us with the confusing remote control. The bed box spring was visibly disgusting and the walls have chipped, flaking paint, and the room we were assigned was facing the busy street. When we asked for something away from the loud street, they offered a corner room with no views at all. The only upgraded “suite” they showed us was near the pool, but the living room only had two futon couches, smelled funny, and the bedroom- though with a large king-sized bed, also had no windows. So we chose the first offered room. And when it came time to shower, the hot (calor) knob did nothing when opened all the way, and the cold knob (frío) opened with water coming out, but it never warmed beyond cold. Very disappointing stay, even for one night.

Clean, in centre of town and cheap at 800peso with free parking and AC worked with a lovely court yard BUT No hot water Very noisy Hard beds Scruffy looking and building work going on. We moved out after first night and paid the same 1 mile north in lovely but characterless block that had everything you could need.
