Hotel Morales - 44100 Guadalajara

Service, cleanliness, and breakfast buffet were all spot on. Rooms were small but adequate. Safe didn't work properly. Biggest drawback was the location. Wasn't safe to venture outside after dark.

Positive: Location elegance Negative: Toilet kept running, sink wouldn't drain, showerhead popped and sprayed sideways. Asked for quiet room but people were talking late right outside my bedroom. Maybe 2 star place.

Positive: Location, classic style, old hotel. Negative: We had a room with no window, but very decent, clean, comfortable. On one night we could hear the people next door moving furniture rather late.

Some of the rooms don't have an exterior windows and only have interior windows. I paid for suite and I got a hotel room. I did however get a balcony. All rooms don't come with refrigerators which is very unusual it would not designate this hotel to be five stars because of the lack of amenities. Pool is fine water is a good temperature and it is refreshing. Curtains on the interior and the exterior of my hotel room are filthy and clearly haven't been cleaned and this century. I have chipped paint on my bathroom door and the floor needs to be waxed. I would say the room is only relatively clean. My room was supposed to be 377 ft but that's impossible. Room is much smaller than the description. And for some odd reason there's no chairs on the balcony. Probably because they would be impossible to keep clean. What the hotel really needs is for the head of the maids to go through the rooms and designate what the problems are with each room are. I like the location of the hotel but due to the dustiness and lack of refrigerators would have to think twice about staying here again. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful but there's places where things just look unattractive and are not hidden from guests views. There are around 10 used air conditioners by the entrance to get to the pool and I don't think anybody wants to see that it looks tacky. The architecture of the hotel and lobby are really basically the highlights of the hotel. Gate 1 tours uses this hotel. This could be a great hotel if care was taken to detail.

Very well located, this beautiful hotel is relaxed and laid back. The breakfast buffet was good and worth taking. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. The pool on the roof is the perfect temperature

Beautiful hotel, great price, friendly staff, big breakfast buffet, and for some reason it always has rooms. They will also arrange their own rides to the airport at any hour. This is my go-to hotel for Guadalajara.

Room adequate. Refrigerator would have been nice. More than one chair to sit on instead of the bed. Pool was great. Dining room food was good but had to pay cash and room service shut down earlier than posted.

This hotel uses an old and beautiful home to house guests on three levels above ground level, with elevators provided. Rooms are fine, though mine only had a window into an inner, indoor courtyard. Service was sometimes great, sometimes lacking (as when my promised 2:30 am wake-up call never came!). Breakfast buffet is good, with eggs to order offered.
