★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service was good and hotel is clean. However, make sure you are charged before you go. I booked online but was not charged until I was about to check in. I thought they could just run the transaction as I had booked. There was a recent change in management and my credit card could not be accepted (this was after several calls to my bank to ensure card was not blocked). I was then informed to go to ATM to get cash, which I was charged a $45 fee for each transaction (I had to do two). When I inquired about compensation for transaction fees, I was told the manager sent me email with PayPal account info instead to make payment. I never received email. I was extremely disappointed due to good customer service through emails prior to arrival. Breakfast is not included (as stated on site) due to bar and restaurant currently closed. Also, unless site has been changed, airport transportation is not included and you will have to book and pay for yourself. After emailing, we were upgraded to a king room due to misleading information. The room was spacious and we were provided water daily. We were informed we would also get fruit due to no breakfast but only received fruit the first day. Overall, it is a great location being one block from 5th avenue. Hotel is extremely noisy and you can here everything but maybe after they finish some construction they have, it will be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed in an interior room. It is a very small room but the first impression of the room is very chic and elegant. Everything is well cleaned.
There is no windows for the interior rooms. Since there was no windows it was quite unaired. We had to run the AC whole day and night long which made the air super dry.
We stayed in the Morgana hotel for 5 nights and we never had internet. It’s been said that there is a problem with connection.
There is a small fridge and iron. There were no shampoo or conditioner until the last day. No hairdryer as well.
The receptionists are kind and especially señor Arturo suggested us very cool places.
The location is very great you can walk almost everywhere.
No breakfast. They said there is going to be a coffee break in the morning where they would serve coffee and some bakery. 5/2 days no coffee and bakery was not enough. There is a bakery across the street.
There is no parking. You can pay 100 pesos per day for parking nearby or you can use a coin operated street parking (10pm-10am free).
I suggest you to go to the free public beach called ‘playa 88’. They have free showers until 5pm. We have been in Tulum, Akumal and cancun beaches. But I still find playa 88 the best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This very chic, contemporary, modern hotel was a great place to stay! Located walking distance to Quinta Ave (5th street) and to the public beach. My stay was great, the room had a modern IKEA look, and cozy. It was just me and my husband vacationing for a week. One problem, the bed was not comfortable as it felt very worn, It needs to be replaced. I still give it 5 stars, because the atmosphere, the service, and the luxury of being so close to everything. I totally recommend this place! The staff was very friendly, they made me feel like family. There was a bar and a pool, which I didn’t use, but the looks of it, seemed very highly spirited with fun, maybe next time I will use this amenity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A modest accommodation - reasonably priced and clean. It isnt new, and if you happen to be assigned a room by the front of the building, you might hear the cars passing. If you arent a light sleeper, it doesnt matter. It isnt loud. What is louder and annoying would be your next-door neighbors if they happen to be loud-mouthed and inconsiderate at night??(I brought my white noise, so I was able to sleep). There is a light at the end of each floor’s hallways, which i call “the light at the end of the tunnel? - pretty glaring even at night. Maybe they should turn it a bit dimmer during the day???
I liked that they have complimentary bottles of water and coffee pods, so you dont have to keep walking to Starbucks or the nearby bakery or 7 11 for drinking water and coffee. If you have time to watch TV?, you have to connect the TV’s Chromecast app to your streaming channels, i.e., youtube TV, Netflix etc. I didnt ask because I brought my IPad, but you might have to ask the front desk to hook you up to the local channels. Cesar and Michael, who manned the front desk, and the housekeeper were very helpful and gracious. There is a small pool and a few lounge chairs on the 5th floor. On the street side of that floor is a lounge area and a bar. Oh also, there is a safe where you can store your valuables if you are out and about. And there is a local bakery/coffee shop right across the hotel, Panificacion Castillo, which has tasty pastries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is overpriced for what it is: a basic hotel with little to no common space, service with tiny rooms. The bar on the 4th floor was never open during the busiest week of the year. The rooms are very small with queen beds only. The interior rooms have no windows. You can hear people in the other rooms talking and using the bathroom. The advertised terrace is unusable because it is covered by a room above it and never gets any sun. The AC has only two options on (aka fridge) or off. The water pressure is super low and one day the water was shut off totally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is definitely not the 4 star hotel it was advertised as. My room is small with no window to the outside. Rooftop pool is tiny with almost no sun exposure. Rooms are clean and modern but you'll probably get more for your pesos elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My stay at Hotel Morgana was amazing! Caesar and the rest of the team provides excellent service! They helped and gave us tips about everything from restaurants to street parking!
The hotel is very well maintained and a bit off the main tourist street (while still right around the corner), so it’s nice & quiet at night! There is no breakfast, but there are LOADS of good places within 5 min walking. However, there is a coffee machine on the 5th floor and in the morning there are also some cakes / breads available.
- The room was simply amazing! I had a room with a tiny balcony. The room was large, exceptionally clean and the bed & pillows were VERY comfortable! There is a safe, a large closet & a Nespresso machine with cups in the room.
- The bathroom is fairly big, with a separated toilet & shower. It has a rain shower which I loved!
- The pool is small, but very nice for some chill time in the morning / late afternoon. It only has sun in the morning, but was good for waiting for others to wake up?
I was supposed to stay 4 nights, but ended up extending with 1 night because I loved it there!
