Hotel MX centro - 06060 Ciudad de México

Location excellent I got lost enjoyed markets bought a padlock too for my locker. Found huge cathedral and taco stall so a nice start. In spite of my bsg going missing at airport! Dont think staff were helpful at beginning but now manager has helped me so all good. Hostel is quiet and wifi great in a beautiful building with nice little bar and cafe.. only thingvdont like now no free tea coffee and water! My bed is vrry immaculste with nice fan and ultra clean bedding So given it another chance here ..it s not a party hostel but nice enough..pretty as you walk in and nice decor in bar area. Also a small tv room with settees..people who want to chat will some have.. It would have been good to have checked in early without charge as most hostels do this now.

Really nice experience here. Great staff. Good facilites. I was so close to pastelería Madrid and its not a party hostel but a place to relax, only minus is that the upstairs music could be a bit softer.

Excellent staff clean place definitely recommended to friends and family. Perfect location. Israel, Manuel, Rubi and Andonni is very responsive to all needs and accommodations. Every visit to Mexico City they take care of everything for me.

Worst reservation I've had to deal with. Booked a 6 bed dorm. They said it was under maintenence and I was being put in a 10 bed dorm for only 40 pesos less... then 3 days later told me it was fine and had a bed. This was a lie and I was not informed until I got to front desk... I was still told I was being put in a 10 bed dorm but for 30 pesos less than the price before. The front desk was polite and understanding... dropped price to the original 40 after showing them the previous conversation, and then offered an 8 bed dorm but at the same price as the 6 bed. It was the worst time I've ever had booking into a hostel. And the fact they would not be lenient in price for them messing up the booking on a one night reservation shows they care more about the money then their customers. As far as rooms went they were still okay, but not sure why there aren't fitted/flat sheets on the bed? Just a mattress protector and a duvet. Either way, glad it was only for one night. Would never return.

Great hostel but... So this hostel is in a great location with great beds and amenities... I mean it even has a gym! However... Both times I went to pay for my room they tried charging me more than was told on hostel world. First time he gave me a bad exchange rate so I showed him the actual exchange rate. The second time I did the same but they tried charging me for tax... It states on the terms and conditions in the app that this price includes tax.

Amazing experience staying at Casa MX Centro! The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Marian gave her very best to help us communicating with our airline to change our flight. Reception is 24/7 and when you've a problem, they'll be there. Our dorm room is really clean and tidy, the bed is the best we ever had in a hostel. Big and comfy. Thanks you so much for everything.

The location can’t be beat, so I wasn’t expecting much, but the room itself was lovely! Spacious, very clean, large, comfortable beds and linens. A small balcony overlooking the street and breakfast included. Also, there was a coffee machine in the courtyard that I took serious advantage of. I seldom leave reviews, but I made a point of writing one for MXcentro because I was so pleasantly surprised. Our guest check in person was Javier and he was excellent as well. Extremely helpful. I would certainly book again next time I’m in Mexico City.

Very amazing experience. Love the service and very helpful staff. By the way. If you never ask for anything you’ll never get service. They just a call away. Also if you have a kitchenette they will provide you with cooking Essentials and plates and silverware. Also best location in town especially for the price. Highly recommended. I do encourage to keep this a hidden spot to maintain affordability. Especially after covid traveling is hard. As of Jan 2022 this was my best first experience in Mexico hotel.
