Hotel MX lagunilla - 06300 Ciudad de México

Nice room size and clean. BUT...no air conditioning or fan or air circulation and window opens slightly about 10inches which does not give enough air circulation to feel sweatless during a night's sleep. NO fridge and NO ice cubes on-site. Breakfast is a bottle of juice and a yogurt with a tiny bland cheese sandwich~(DAILY same). TV and wifi works! Water pressure low and temperature not consistent. Staff can be nice and can be rude depending on which lady you approach. Lots of Indians check into this hotel and many don't wear a mask and blocks the lobby coming in like herds! Hope the management will up their covid hygiene requirements to feel safe staying here! (PS: this area is known to be unsafe for tourists and outside of hotel is not safe to go out at night!)

It was an great experience of my ice and this was first time when I stayed at foreign hotel who provides each and every kind of help and things which we needed. I just want to thank Viviana who helped me a lot .

This was our first stay and we weren’t disappointed. We were given a warm welcome and felt comfortable that all was in place security wise. Our room was larger than expected for the price and it was clean and cozy. Excellent location, notably for exploring the surrounding area. It was a very pleasant stay.

Lack of air conditioning a huge problem as rooms like saunas!!! Not even ceiling fans in the rooms! Staff not exactly friendly. Sandwiched between 2 main roads so a lot of traffic. "Gym" is an overstatement! A few pieces of equipment in a tiny room. Good points - rooms very clean and spacious, free tea and coffee in breakfast room, basic breadfruit included (ie drink, sandwich, and yogurt), about a 10 min walk to historical centre and 20 min walk to Tourist Bus. Cheap at £20 a night but this was a special price. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great staff, clean accommodation, great price per night. The patio is somewhat shaded, so you might get a breese. However, there is another building. The windows are hard to open and single pane. There is no ac in the rooms. Breakfast was the same offering, the only thing that changed was the color of the sauce on the chilaquilles. The breakfast menu needs to have more variety. The coffee machine needs to be recalibated as the coffee is stronger than Starbucks and not drinkable to us. The area is very noisy at night because the surrounding area has traffic all night. Changing the windows might make a difference. The walls are thin as well, we could hear the other guests have a full conversation over the TV. Close to public transit options if you want if not taxi and Uber is the way to go. If you use Uber, see if you can get it so that you pay the driver cash because the app will charge you more than the cash price offered to an mx account holder.

Nice and clean. Friendly service. The rooms could use better soundproofing since it's next to a big road, aswell as have an AC in the room
