C	Chinmay Deshpande on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A calm and laid back hotel by the beach. The staff (especially Ricardo) is really warm and friendly. They take their eco-friendliness seriously: you'll notice it in everything, from the soaps in the room to the lighting in the hotel. The rooms are spartan (no fridge), but we found the fan sufficient for the heat. The restaurants across the hotel do play loud music at night, but I don't think it will be a problem for the beach view / partial beach view rooms. Ours was a partial beach view room, and the view was lovely. The free breakfast is excellent. The restaurant is not exactly a part of the hotel, but happens to be across the street, so you can't charge things to your room or get room service seamlessly. Overall, the hotel is refreshingly different from other establishments along the beach that try to upsell you at every turn.
A	Amy Rogers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m obsessed! First time in Mexico let alone Tulum beach. Booked this place after a lot of research to make this trip extra romantic for my girlfriend. We met some other really amazing guests. Beach front is the way to go. The staff was amazing…from the cleaning services, the concierge(who even had a doctor come to the hotel for our Covid tests) and the guys who maintained the property/cutting down fresh coconuts would give me one if I was by the pool. The “continental” breakfast was a farm to table restaurant across the street was so delicious. This place is all around perfect. My only complaint would be we didn’t have a hammock. 9days and we were both very relaxed. We didn’t even want to leave. Looking forward to staying here again hopefully in the near future. Fingers crossed!

The staff was so friendly and helped us with taxis and recommending the best way to go snorkeling, see the ruins, and cenotes. The property is gorgeous and the rooms were really comfortable. Each room is the top or bottom floor of a building and each one has its own balcony/patio. Rooms were very private and peaceful. The lighting in the rooms were a bit dim, but I think it was to save power (the grid is not great in Tulum beach) and also to keep the resort dark at night for turtles/light pollution. There is no AC during the daytime, but there's a fan so you don't really need it. I would absolutely stay here again!

We asked upon checkin if the room was nice and we were brushed off with a vague answer. The website warns about construction noise but not the mind altering head drilling music from the club across the street. Our "nice" room was across the street from a high octane club which closes whenever. In this case approx 3 am. My complaint to airmiles went nowhere as the hotel denied that we complained. I was very succinct with front desk in the morning even letting them know that we offered to upgrade and were brushed off. Management has lied. While I understand noise is beyond their control, there is no warning about club music. Be careful booking here. Not a good experience.
E	Edna Flores on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay at Nueva Vida! We had an early flight so we arrived to the hotel before check in. The staff was welcoming and assure us they would try to check us in as soon as our room was available. After 30 minutes we were able to check in! The location is great! All the great restaurants and bars are walking distance. We stayed at the Amor Eterno bungalow and it truly was one of a kind. The sunrise every morning was a dream come true. The day beds right outside our bungalow were perfect for a quick nap on the beach. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the chilaquiles. Nueva vida was everything we expected and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the property is beautiful! One of the few properties on the beach that has maintained its original rustic appearance. We will be staying at Nueva Vida again without a doubt.

If you book through their own website you can pick your exact room and avoid nighttime club noise and get great ocean views, etc. The cabanas out on the beach are so nice and quiet, and the breakfast that is included at their restaurant across the street is INCREDIBLE with amazing vegan options. And you are also completely walkable to so many amazing dinner restaurants. We never even needed to use a taxi. The staff is all very friendly too!

Had one small issue but Ricardo the manager was super accommodating to make it riight so it was a win win for everybody. Lovely reception staff, and the young lady was especially helpful and nice. A super breakfast included each day. An extra bonus was the Covid test site just 50 feet away. All was excellent,

The rooms are delightful, the service impeccable and compared to many hotels on this beach it represents excellent value. No bar or restaurant on site, but loads within a few minutes walk. Not one for party people, but it's been around for decades and delivers no-frills comfort with panache. Highly recommended.
