★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, helpful staff. Great location for walking to popular sites including markets and museums. The hotel had a great view of the city from the rooftop. The hotel also offers an affordable tour of Monte Albán and other sites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was clean but very noisy at night and we had only one towel for two. At first, we didn’t know if we wanted to stay one or two nights so we tell the receptionist that we will think about it and pay the next morning. She accepted, but than they woke us up at night to ask us to pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel rooms were clean but the last morning we were there there was no hot water.
Also they made me pay for a room with 2 beds because my 3 year old son was with us even tho he slept in 1 bed with us. But they said he had to pay for a bed. We were tired from traveling all day there and just paid for it to get some rest. Also the tv was not working. The staff was friendly tho, but I would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place itself was very nice and clean. It was a bit noisy during the day because there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so every few minutes you can hear the loud engines of the busses. We were out exploring the city during the day and at night the busses stopped passing by at a certain hour so it wasn't too much of a problem for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for the price, 5 stars for location, 2 stars for amenities and 2.5 stars for room quality. I found the nighty rate to be very good when I booked online. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly guest agent. Check-in was quick and to my surprise they do have parking spaces (very limited parking spots in the basement. first come first serve kinda thing). The rooms however are very small, the towels and shower curtains had seen better days. The wifi was not reliable. We had a really hard time check-in into flights because the page would not load.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great because it’s convenient to iglesia de la Soledad but, street is very busy and lots of buses making noise at in the street.
Rate gets adjusted according to the season, in day of the death for example they charged me twice of what their regular rate is.
Space is limited within room: small closet, no spot to put your luggage.
There are two ventilators in the room.
Bed is comfy and bed dressings were changed daily. Be sure to tip maids.
Amenities are cheap with “Rosa Venus” soap, so I advice to bring your own.
Place works great if you I’ll be discovering town most of the day.
