★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, clean, relaxing hotel. Standard room size, comfy beds, and AC. The staff is helpful and many of them speak English. They serve breakfast, rent bikes, and have a pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I spent a few days here in August of 2021. The hotel was right on the malicon (boardwalk) and close to restaurants, stores and entertainment. The hotel was clean, and in good shape, with a beautiful pool. The hotel is not new and it shows a little, but the staff is what really shines. The workers at this hotel were so nice and polite and helpful. They took us to centro in the hotel van at no cost, and did everything they could to make our stay as nice and memorable as possible. If you have to have a freshly updated bathroom, or a refrigerator in your room, maybe there is a better hotel for you, but I am sure that no other hotel has nicer people than the Ocean View.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is nice, the location is fine (10 min walk from the city centre). The main problem is that the building is old and the rooms need to be renovated. Don’t be mislead by the name of the hotel. There is no guarantee that you will get an ocean view.
