J	Jeffrey Haas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel exemplifies the hospitality which is characteristic of Oaxaca. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very clean and cute. There is a lovely courtyard and the feeling is airy and fresh. Staff were working daily taking care of it. The location is perfect for enjoying Oaxaca. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Oaxaca.
G	Gagan Toor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay here. We liked everything about the place. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. The hotel has nice patio (see pic). It is located a 10-15 min walk from the city center. We enjoyed walking to different locations, always felt safe, sometimes coming back to the hotel around 10 pm. The staff at this place is what sets the place apart. Very helpful, cheerful and courteous. All staff we encountered spoke good English. The stay included breakfast in the on site restaurant. The staff their was very nice and went out of the way to accommodate our requests.

Would have been nice if there was a fridge either in the room or a communal one. Room could have been cleaner, there were hairs around the room from previous guest.

I gave 4 stars because of the bed. It's like sleeping on the floor. I still would recommend staying here, but bring a mattress pad.

I worried alot before our trip whether this hotel would be okay, if it was too far, it it would be clean and comfortable. There was no reason to worry, and I would definitely stay here again! The plants inside are so beautiful, the staff accommodating, the hotel is cleaned every day, the restaurant is good, the coffee shop across the street is great. The beds are a firm style, but we were okay. The walk to the zocolo and markets is like 15 minutes, not a big deal, and so much quieter! Bring a water bottle since the hotel provides free purified water to guests.

It is the perfect location to explore Oaxaca: walking distance to the bustling city center, yet a quiet oasis at the same time. It is tastefully decorated with a respect for history. The very old tree in the beautiful garden is an hommage to past times. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are neat (try to book a room with a terrace!). The coffee houses, bakeries, and restaurants close by are recommendable. No surprise, we will definitely be back here when we visit Oaxaca again. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay.
