Rather than risk being unable to leave with my passport etc... to the airport I stored it in my suitcase. After the maid had cleaned I returned and I checked and US$80 (from the $300 that was there) had been taken. The hotel said they can do nothing because it wasn't in the safe. Basically you can't win with a faulty safe and thieving staff. On my check-in I was supposed to be in a King Suite. They put me n the correct room after I queried it. Fairly noisy because the windows don't close properly (in either room). Clean. Good gym. Would definitely not recommend after the theft.
R	Rebecca M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m posting two stars not because I had the worst experience, but because this is more like a 2 star than 4.5 star hotel. I mostly stay in the latter kind of hotel (thanks, business travel) and this is nothing of the sort. The decor is early 1980s. There is a slight but off putting smell in the rooms (especially in the closet). The furniture and walls are marred—a lot! Remote for TV didn’t work. Bed was VERY uncomfortable—hard as nails. The staff are friendly enough. The linen appears to be clean. But that’s kind of a low bar.

A few hours later when I realized this i contacted staff and they said nothing was in there. i asked to check myself and it was gone. No hot water the entire time in 4th floor rooms. Beds are good but pillows too thick and not comfortable. Rooms themselves are nice and gym is great but will not be back after this last experience
