Great room, good service and a really nice location at the beach!

Recently remodeled. Big spacious rooms. Beach front. Fantastic view. Great service. What more are you looking for?

To all couples who wants to book a nice stay, stay away! The whole stay there was just horrible. We booked the honeymoon suite with the Whirlpool to spend some good time together as a couple. When we arrived, no one told us that the whirlpool , that we paid extra for, doesn’t work. When we ask them to fix it, different people were telling us that they will handle it till the next day. In the evening there was also NO warm water to shower with and again it was promised to be fixed till the next day. On the next day maintenance finally came and told us, the whirlpool is broken and can’t be fixed and that they don’t have hot water for our room as the boiler was broken and they have been waiting for a little piece that they ordered. While being on our honeymoon in the expensive suite with no functional whirlpool and cold water to shower, we requested the money back or getting another room and getting the difference between the honeymoon suite and the normal room. The hotel refused and offered us instead a dinner in worth of 100$. Booking.com didn’t help us, as the payment was done by the hotel even tho the reservation was done by booking.com. Additionally to that there is a big construction right besides the hotel, so you will be woken up every morning at 8am by construction noise, which goes till the evening ofc! After 3 days of cold water showers, no working Whirlpool that we payed for, construction noise and lots and lots of discussions with different hotel employees we gave up and accepted at least the dinner. What was promised wasn’t what we got. When we arrived for the dinner they offered us a club sandwich each and one margarita or water. This was the cherry on the top! All the promises and lies made us so angry that we denied the “club sandwich dinner” and left the hotel for a better one around the corner. The Palm - and this hotel was just amazing and flawless! Highly recommended, the service, the rooms, the food and the roof top are just stunning! All in all a horrible expensive stay with no help from the hotel or booking.com, just disappointing!

Beautiful beachfront hotel with kind stuff. I enjoyed one week long stay. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed was that their gym is closed so i needed to pay the other gym for training. It’s really stupid that you closed the gym because of covid but kept the restaurant open.

It was really just ok . My experience was not very satisfactory in this hotel. The view is great and the hotel stay was great too but the restaurant service is amongst the worst you can find in Playa Del Carmen. The breakfast is not even eatable most of the times with coffee so cold and bread so stale that it makes you not even want to touch it. The female service ladys have the worst attitudes and make you feel so unpleasent that even with a free breakfast we decided it was better to eat elsewhere beacause we did not want to feel that incomodity. Not including the fact that they charge you an almost forcible tip fee in the bill. Great hotel with great reception but the "ammenities included" not worth your money at all and restaurant service not recommended.

Complete garbage hotel! Let's just say between the lack of cleanliness, lack of functionality of air conditioner, toilet and even mini refrigerator, and the refusal on management to accept responsibility for their failures, I would never stay there again, even if for free. The one star is for the views from this hotel and the Margaritas at the bar. That is IT!! YOU been warned! I wasn't. Take heed because there are MANY other hotels on this same beach strip that are better and better priced. This place needs to be shutdown..

Location is convenient. Housekeeping does not change towels or replenish toiletries. A bit of noise from Fifth but not too bad. Front desk staff is ok. My first morning at breakfast the waiter served the families and ignored me (solo traveler). So, I simply left and bought breakfast on Fifth Avenue.

I would strongly suggest anyone who is considering this as a stay during their time in Playa del Carmen to re consider. It’s worth 30$ - 45$ per night at most. There is a hotel being built right next door so from 10am - 6pm the hotel is unbearable to be in and from 7pm onward you have loud music and the other sounds of 5th avenue. The beds are uncomfortable the rooms are extremely dated. The staff isn’t particularly helpful either. For anyone looking at the photos online, don’t be fooled. There is no pool. The gym is closed. And the beach access is locked most of the time, so if you want to wake up and watch the sunrise, you have to leave the hotel and find alternative beach access. Brilliant This is easily one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed in Mexico. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere
