★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed a playa azul for one night on our two day getaway. They were very friendly and flexible here. Yes it wasn’t a high end place to stay but for what you pay you get a decent room but their customer service is what completed this stay, felt safe enough to stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OMG. I’m not certain how this place ever gets a good review. It’s under construction which is not disclosed when you make reservations. What you see on their website is not the truth about what’s actually there. There were no screens on the slider and window in the unit. No way to get a breeze, fresh air without hundreds of flys filling the space. There is construction debris and concrete drippings all over the patio deck and roof below it. Our bathroom had a gaping hole where the vent fan was supposed to be. The AC was moldy and musty. The bedroom was tiny with a window that was open to the breeze way, no screen. Light flooded the room at night. Miserable! We will never stay at this place again. It’s isolated, the dirt road to it is bumpy and long. The website shows that there are paved roads and a Camino that goes along the beach to access this location. A sham!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a ok place if you plan to party and not sleep until 4 am. But if you plan to go to sleep early this isn't the place for you. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We went in February and only paid $40. Not bad at all.
