Hotel Plaza Campeche - 24000 Campeche

DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL - MONEY IS TAKEN FROM OUR ROOM The hotel is fine - nice location and all - but the people who work there aren’t. A huge amount of money has been stolen from our room and they don’t do anything to help us. They don’t call back after promising several times, we got to hear different excuses about the camera footage not being available, the manager is unavailable all the time and won’t talk to us to sort this out, and so on. We haven’t been compensated in any way, we’re super disappointed. So if you ask us, don’t book this hotel.

I'm pretty sure they are running a scam with the FindHotel site, offering a non-existing "deal", so the price shows up on Google Maps lower than what it actually is.

Clean hotel next to the city center. But the bartender that came to the room, when we were in bed to ask to pay a 80 pesos bill at 22:30 while we asked to charge it on the room more than half an hour ago when we left the hotel bar made it a less good experience. Also when we checked out the day after, our car key seemed to be lost. After we did some more sightseeing however our car key was found.

I had an amazing stay at the Plaza Campeche. The employees were very kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. There is a beautiful pool outside and the hotel's restaurant is really nice.

Very good location, BEST service - both at the lobby and very much at the restaurant as well! We had a really nice stay here, a great base to see Campeche. The place is clean and well maintained. Not too crowded which was nice. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel with off street parking. Beautiful entrance and restaurant. Lent us a wheelchair to use outside the hotel too. Super clean. Not 5 stars because you have shower curtains. Service outside at the pool is inatentive. You always have to go inside to ask to order. After that the overly tip hungry staff tend to hover somewhat annoyingly.

Lovely lobby and dining areas, well located just at the edge of the colonial centre. Furniture is quality despite its age. Room is simply furnished, clean and comfortable except for the lack of an easy chair. Bathroom fixtures are very dated but functional. Great parking with excellent attendants. Good value for the money.

Great hotel, close to everything in downtown. Two blocks away from the cathedral, and a couple more and you’re in street 59 which is full of life throughout the day and nice little restaurants and shops where you can hang out. The hotel has very good housekeeping. It looks very well maintained. Our room was a junior suit with high ceilings and air conditioned, also had a ceiling fan that we never used; our main window was facing a fountain and the parking lot, very quiet on the exterior, although the hallway can be a little noisy. My only suggestion would be to have a mini fridge, that would be very useful. They do offer a coffee maker and two bottles of water as courtesy every day. We stayed there 4 nights and we enjoyed it. The front desk staff was helpful and professional. Definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there next time I get to visit the beautiful city of Campeche. We did not go to their restaurant as it seemed a little overpriced and there’s plenty of choices to eat nearby. Overall great stay at this hotel.
