★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mostly great staff but one guy smoked on reception. No mosquito nets on the windows, which was a nightmare. Too many dogs making too much noise in the middle of the night (it's a dog hotel which was not advertised clearly).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute hotel, but you have pay extra for air conditioning, not close to the beach it's more then 100 meters you need a taxi, wifi is spotty in the room and no coffee available. No refrigerator in the room but available on site but accessible after hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This dog friendly hotel is in a fantastic location. It has a beautiful little park in front and is only a 2 minute walk to the beach! I let them know that I needed internet for working and they made sure I was in a room that had a good signal. Also, our room was very clean. I learned about this hotel while volunteering to take care of puppies and street dogs. The people at the hotel are very loving and respect everyone and animals the same.
Beware of the man, Roberto - friendly at first but dangerously unstable. I wish someone had warned me

And very passionate about the rescue work he and his team does with rescue dogs in Huatulco.. Negative: Nothing comes to mind..

Negative: Only after we paid and got the key, the receptionist casually told us there’s no hot water in the shower for hotels on this side of the road after the earthquake. This doesn’t seem like much a problem for them to warn us in advance. And their dog starts to bark and play above our room before 6am in the morning..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great and friendly place for the price. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach, 15 min walk to Chedraui supermarket and 30 min walk to town center La Crucecita. 15 min walk to the beach in Santa Cruz. Rooms are nice, regularly cleaned, daily towels and beds are made. Not much space for luggage, no fridge. Air conditioned and fan.
Very homey, and friendly. WiFi reliable, best at the reception and some rooms.
Great to put your foot on the ground.
No food or coffee makers in the rooms. Local bars are just minutes a way.
