A great quiet location, ideal for crossing into Guatemala in the morning.

This is in a good location but last time I went there i felt as if i wasn't getting my money's worth in actual.

Amazing very professional great food and service

This is the second time we have stayed there, and it was not a pleasant experience. The floors were not swept, the phone did not work, the electrical outlet did not work, the room smelled of chemicals. My husband had to go to the office, as the phone was not working, the girl came back with him and a bottle of freshner and all she did was spray the room so that the smell would be masked. Will not stay there again.

This place is really strange. The room was clean, but everything is old and shabby. I was traveling alone, but got a room with three beds in it; a single, a queen, and a king. The floors are tile. Besides the bed the room had a wooden chair and a folding table with a table cloth on it. There was a built-in vanity with a mirror, and a counter top with a mirror in the bathroom. The towels had gray stains on them. The bedspreads are old and ugly. The matress I slept on was cheap, hard, and old. There are only sheet curtains covering the windows, and a lot of light came in around the door frame. I received a room key hanging from a wooden board and was told I wasn't allowed to leave the property with it. When you leave you are supposed to turn it in at the front desk. The electrical outlet near the bed was falling out of the wall and I had to build a little prop with my clothes to get my plugs to stay in. They don't leave the remote control for the air conditioning with you, they set the temperature and then leave and if you want it changed you have to call the front desk and ask them to come back. Most of the cable channels were fuzzy and had static interference. I think the room was about $27usd.

It is a shame how this place treats their clients. The rules are extremely strict, they treat you like children and do as much as they can to make you want to leave the beautiful hotel. For example, they don’t allow you to take the air conditioning controller into your room, they come in and set it at 23 and leave with the controller so that you cannot adjust it yourself. There is also a limit of 4 beers per person a day. Additionally, the food service is extremely slow. Even though this place has a nice pool, I do not recommend staying in this place.

Horrible. The place is nice but the people at the front are extremely rude and mean. They treated us as if they didn't even want us there. I will not return.
