We had no working water...safe hotel but no running water. AWEFUL!

Very clean and great front service And had the option to add breakfast. And not get hotel cereal and muffins . we went to a actual restaurant and eat real home made breakfast and hand made tortillas.?

Best place I've stayed since i been here and half the cost of best Western plus it's in the square next to the main church

Mal Servicio al cliente y no me gusto esta vez!!Me and My family have been staying there for many many years, but this past weekend was not a good one, the first day we got there was on Thursday, July 15 21. The Hotel Receptionist was a Woman that was overweight with glasses and was rude she didn’t have a good customer service attitude. Me my 2 kids and mother stayed there my mother was the one who got the room and the receptionist said that it was 3 adults and 1 child and we got a room for 3 days. My mother went the next day to tell them if they weren’t going to go clean the rooms and the receptionist said if we wanted the room to be cleaned?? Of course we need new towels and toilet paper and she also wanted to charge us more money because she said that she had not charged for my mom ??? Really I was there when she changed fir 3 adults and 1 child. And I saw a roach there too unfortunately I will be looking for another hotel when I go to Matamoros MX..

Great place to stay at! Nice, Comfortable, Affordable and Clean. Close to the plaza and everything is walking distance. I definitely recommend them. Love the customer service! Thank you for making us feel at home. P.S. Pictures were taken after our stay...

NO ME GUSTA ESTE HOTEL!!!!! The hotel is a little bit old, shares its parking with a paid vendor and they wanted me to pay and I had to straighten that out before I even registered. The room was okay and clean enough, very little hot water and I almost had to run around in the shower to get wet. They required a 200 peso deposit for the key and the remote control when I returned it they had me wait for almost 20 minutes so a housekeeper could check the room, I have never had anyone do that in my 45-plus years of traveling Oh, it made me feel like a thief. It was also very noisy the plaza next door somebody played music at 11 and several times during the night and I mean loud loud loud. I only stated this place because the Best Western lost power but I will never stay in Hotel Plaza Riviera ever again ! Much better choices elsewhere! ***** they made me wait for over 15 minutes when I checked out so the maid could check the room to make sure I didn't steal any towels or the remote oh, they made me feel like a thief I will never stay there again!!!
