Hotel Pochote - 70946 Santa María Tonameca

Es un lugar muy bonito, la limpieza excelente, tiene una muy buena ubicación. Probé en el restaurante el chocolate con agua y la tlayuda de cecina enchiladas riquísima.

Es un hotel muy bonito, todo se ve nuevo y es muy limpio el lugar. Ofrece servicios básicos y necesarios a un costo accesible, algo que es complicado encontrar en otros hoteles de Mazunte. La ubicación es muy céntrica. La desventaja es que se escucha mucho el ruido de la calle. Pero nosotros llegamos muy cansados y el ruido no fue mayor problema para dormir.

The decor was minimalistic & effective. Tall ceilings and plenty of light, great colours, the round bed was a touch!

Impossible to sleep. The noise from the street is just so loud that it can't allow you to sleep. Sunlight from the outside come from the window and it is really annoying to sleep. They give you only a little sheet so you will catch a cold. Awful. Don't stay there. There are plenty of others accommodations that you can stay for a better price and quality. The AC doesn't work correctly as well. They also didn't wanted to refund me for the next nights I d booked.

One of our best value for money stays! Wow - we love being pleasantly surprised! By reading the comments and seeing the particular design of the place we weren’t expecting much, but it ended up being an amazing choice! The room was HUGE, calm (we chose the room with the picture of the 2 Renaissance ladies) And close to everything! Great if you want to travel around by collectivo to explore the near towns. The shower was one of the hottest we had! Overall a great experience The only room for improvement is the staff improving the communication (no English) and maybe being a bit more friendly.

Great service and amazing price for a big room with daily cleaning. Right in the center of Mazunte. Highly recommend.

Large spacious clean room with beautiful 2 story high ceilings. Strong AC and a clean bathroom. Well located. Unfortunately all of this is absolutely ruined by how insanely loud and noisy this place is. I was warned by the many reviews that said the place was loud but I am a heavy sleeper and didn’t believe it could be this bad, it was. We were forced to cut our stay to one night from the planned 4 nights. During our brief stay was a block party about A BLOCK AWAY in a public square, that started at 2pm and went on for nearly 12 hours until it was shut down at 1.30am by the cops. The structure of the building AMPLIFIED the noise, it was MUCH louder inside the room than standing on the balcony or in the courtyard. It felt you were in a very loud club - the walls vibrated and my ears are still hurting the next morning. After managing to fall asleep at 2am, I was woken up at dawn by the amplified noise of the trucks and motor bikes causing the room to vibrate. The craziest experience I have had in all of my years of travel. If you value your hearing, stay away from this place.
