★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your gonna stay in this hotel you might as well cross the street to Hotel Condesa , similar name but not the same, its a few more pesos more but worth it. Posada la condesa is old and not well maintained.

If you're looking for a stay near the best restaurants, night clubs, and local attractions that downtown Guanajuato has to offer this place is just a short walk away and at a fraction of the price you'll pay at the neighboring hotels. The owner of the establishment, Javier and his staff are all really welcoming and attentive with their guests. I spent 3 nights here in a triple bed room with a balcony view to the street and the room was really clean, organized, and very spacious. Overall I had a pleasant and fairly cheap stay here. I recommend you give it a try. It's been under new management (with Javier) for only a year so this place is bound to only get better as time goes by.
