Hotel Posada de La Moneda - 98000 Zacatecas

It's a very nice hotel

Rooms are small and they have dirty carpet on the floor. The place needs an update.

The problem is it doesn't have parking... But the hotel is great

When I visit it, weather was too cool and the hotel rooms hadn't heating and stay became uncomfortable, no elevator and no restaurant.

I've stayed at both Misión Argento and Posada de La Moneda. I honestly preferred Posada de La Moneda even though the other one looks "nicer". To be honest, the place doesn't look that great but it's pretty cheap, the view from the room balcony was beautiful and overlooks the plaza, mountain and street. The bathroom was REALLY small, but it's not a big deal. Everyone still fit in perfectly. The room had a walk in closet and 3 Queen Size Beds. We paid about $100 (dollars) total for 6 people, so that was great! Tours of the city start right outside the hotel. It's in a great location with plenty of stores and markets around it / nearby. It doesn't come with AC or a ceiling fan, but you don't need it. Leave the window open and you'll be fine! The air is cool throughout the day and especially at night

I stayed here during my stay in zacatecas and quite honestly it was my favorite place to stay. The only reason I didn't make it 5 stars is due to there not being an elevator. The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean, the water was hot and breakfast the next morning in their restaurant was delicious. The hotel doesn't have a parking lot but if you let the hotel staff know that you have a car they'll allow you to park in the street directly in front of their building. I would definitely recommend it. Plus, it's In the plaza so you truly never need a taxi.

It was, okay. My balcony door was not working properly, so they swapped my rooms for an other without trouble. Great view from the balcony to the Cathedral and Cerro de la Bufa.

The balcony is beatiful. The room has a pretty view. You can view the cathedral.
