Hotel Posada de Roger - 48380 Puerto Vallarta

Great hotel very cute rooms and centrally located. Close to everything and everyone if u know what I mean. The stuff nice, helpful and respectful. Overall I Love It ❤ ? . Highly recommend

Positive: All of the people were so kind and helpful! Location is in the heart of the Romantic District close walk to the ocean. Lots of great places to eat. The party in the street is loud at night and early in the morning, there are ear plugs at the front desk.

Hotel is very clean and good value. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are somewhat small, but we were only there to sleep for a couple of nights so wasn’t a bother. Great location as well.

Positive: Nice and friendly staff. Great location in the heart of the Zona Romántica with restaurants, bars, and shops immediately outside the hotel door and a 15 minute walk to the beach. Negative: It felt like a two star rather than three star hotel. While there is air conditioning, cable TV (in Spanish), and good WiFi, the rooms are no frills and dated and have a musty smell. There were a few ants in the restroom.

This place is a gem! It is clean and comfortable and a great bargain. The staff was great and provided superb service. We were able to rest quite comfortably each night before another day of adventure! The location is perfect with great places to eat and explore all around.

Positive: Wonderful little non-chain hotel in the heart of the Zona Romantica just 2 blocks from the beach. The staff was wonderful and helpful, their communication both before and during our stay was excellent, and the hotel itself older, but sweet. Negative: If you¿re looking for a sanitized, big chain hotel with every amenity known to man, Posada de Roger is not it. It¿s a charming Mexican-style hotel instead.

Positive: Not only is the location superb, but the interior courtyard is a perfect escape from the street life outside. The ambiance is truly lovely. It's great for the price. The staff is lovely as can be - warm and gracious. The shared rooftop kitchen is awesome! Negative: The shower drain overflowed every day, sometimes running down one step into the room. It had to be fixed daily. The remote never worked properly-thankfully, we didn't need TV. Even with hot weather, the pool is very cold; takes some time to get used to!

An easy 5 stars. We only stayed 1 night but had we been in the area longer I would have been happy staying longer. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was super friendly. The hotel itself is super adorable. So much foliage and beautiful flowers! For the age of the property it's super well maintained and you can tell they've gone through and rehabbed it at some point. We had a cute little gift waiting on our bed as well. Most importantly it's clean. They also have a lot of services including late check outs, safety deposit boxes, beach towel check out, and they'll call you a cab if you need one. I heard great things about the adjoining restaurant but didn't get to try it personally. The pool always had people around so you could tell it has a hip little spot. The location is great too. It was just a few blocks from the beach, close to tons of restaurants and shopping, and a Starbucks across the street. The only downside for me was that the beds aren't terribly comfortable. I have a bad everything really so it wasn't the most comfortable nights sleep but my husband didn't have any complaints so it's probably fine for those less picky than me.
