Hotel Princess Mayev - 70987 Bahias de Huatulco

It was a nice stay at this hotel. Not to far from downtown. Great view of the town and the bay. Nice pool and resteraunt for what we felt was a fair price. Rooms where a bit dated in deco but the ac worked great so I'm ok with older tile.

Very nice hotel with awesome views. They have 2 pools, 1 big one and a smaller one. Both very nice. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, beds are kinda comfy, our shower was awesome, not far at all from the beach. Wifi not that great but the staff is. Overall was a really good price. ??

Excellent hotel- amazing staff who go out of their way to help you in anything you may need. The owner is very hard on them however, and it seems they are overworked- they work from 6 a.m to 11 p.m not counting clean up and set up. I overheard him scolding one of the workers and he made me very uncomfortable with how he treated the worker. Nonetheless the staff will always greet you with a smile and will go to the world's ends to make you very satisfied. The pool can become a bit crowded, but they have more than one. The restaurant service is incredible. I cannot stress how great the staff in this hotel are. They make you feel like a king or like the only person in the world. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The views from our room are beautiful. The staff is friendly although some speak little English. The food at the restaurant is very tasty and very well priced. The owner is often found at the front desk and is extremely nice and speaks very good English. If you want to get away from the main pool because others are using it (it is never overly busy) you can choose one of the other pools because there are 3 of them.

Such a great place, location is ideal and the staff and owner are incredible.

Had breakfast there. One of the very few places that offer buffet service these days. Although, I'm not a buffet person myself. Food was ok, service was a bit underwhelming as we had to ask for most everything we needed, from the initial cup of coffee, to refills, to forks. Nonetheless, we actually spent some time after our meal in conversation and we were not rushed to leave the place, which at times is a plus. The view these days, after the rains, is truly beautiful, so if you are not a picky eater and want to have a good chat this could be your place. They also have a smoking section, away from the non-smoking, which I find accommodating. Some details about what is included in the price are ommitted, so if you are in a tight budget, you may want to have everything clear before ordering, (a $30 pesos cup of coffee did not make us empty our pockets, though). The best dish was, probably, the french toast my friend ordered.

They were super helpful and accommodating. From helping us order tacos to getting a mechanic to come pick up our vehicle to fix the brakes. Would 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be staying again.

Love this place! Me and my family stayed here for a few days and I couldn't recommend it enough! Lovely staff, lovely and clean room with great location. The food in the restaurant was great too with desent prices. I would definitely stay here next time.
