★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very lovely hotel three blocks from the main plaza. There are several flower beds and fountains in the open air center of the hotes. Rooms are clean and staff is attentive. There is no restaurant here and coffee is on the second level of the hotel, instant with packet creamer is my only complaint. Close enough to the plaza to go there for a delicious breakfast at Surtidor Restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To maintain a hotel in historic buildings with all the charm we expect is very challenging. This place does a great job of it. Everything is clean and the place is very well run. In this price class this is the best I have seen so far in Mexico. They have their own parking. There is a second building next door that works well for groups with plenty of meeting space. Call them directly if they are sold out on the internet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel has all the grace and charm of an old world hotel, but has been modernized. What a surprise and a treat. Close to and in walking distance of the town square with lots of quaint shops and restaurants. 5 stars does not do it justice. Try it next time there
