C	Carlos G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice Restaurant on the Portales across the street for a nice park. This is a locals place with good food, good service and busy but comfortable environment. We enjoyed our dinner here before returning to Merida.

But the young lady on the front desk should not have a job that deals with the public. We had to wait 5hrs for shift change to get the front desk to turn on our air conditioning... Something that can only be done by using the controller stored in the front desk. So if it is hot I strongly recommend considering a different hotel. That said the other staff have all been pleasant.

Listening to the anime-fights (sounds of dragons dying in very high volume) of the receptionist until late at night and waking up to an army of washing-machines pounding through the wall in the morning made me switch hotel asap and lets just not start talking about the shower. No water, too hot water, no water, cold water, no water, too hot etc beside this room was ok, location was good had room nr 28 if relevant

When I wake up, staff is sleeping and when they wake up they tell me all the taxis drivers are sleeping and won't get me the taxi. I had to walk city center, get it, go to the hotel and the finally be able to reach the bus station. While waiting I was bitten in 1 by 10 mosquitos in the hotel hall. On top of this inconvenient where they were fully inoperational, the bed is horrible hard and deformed. I like hard beds but this was something else. Worst were the pillows. Apart from that, booking it online we got half the price we would have paid if we would have done it in the front desk.
