★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a room through Expedia and mad the mistake of booking the night before we actually arrived and within 10 mins contacted Expedia to amend the mistake, Expedia blamed the hotel and said there was no staff from reservations available to change the date and after contacting the hotel they blamed Expedia and said it's up to them. We went to the hotel the next day when we were originally supposed to stay and the hotel did not offer us a refund or a free nights stay they instead offered us a "discounted" room at 950 peso's. Not a bad hotel but don't expect the staff to be any help if there's any issue's with your stay as they are just there for show and not to offer any assistance and there never seems to be an actual manager available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time staying here. I used to live in SMA, and it was great being back in the city where my love affair with Mexico began. The grounds are very well kept, the staff are amazingly accommodating and our room was clean and very comfortable. We had a balcony that overlooked the gardens and felt private. The location is perfect for visitors. The walk to the Jardin and La Parroquia is only about 10 minutes, although it will probably take longer because of all the intriguing shops you will pass by. I will definitely stay here again.

One of the most disorganized hotels I have been in a long time, particularly at breakfast time, with one choice only, starting 30 min late everyday because waiters and cooks arrive late and then run like headless chicken. When milk arrives your diluted coffee is already cold. Bread arrives when you have finished your eggs. And generally speaking the place is a bit dilapidated, in particular the gym. This place needs very urgently a proper manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four stars, but weak four stars. Staff were attentive, rooms were okay, but no "wow factor". Restaurant was weak, and though this is in no way unique to here, too many tvs (I don't want war with my dinner!!) Quite expensive for México (in my opinion).
