★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved its authentic old Mexico charm. It's old, yet cute clean and cozy. Other people wrote about cracks on walls and old towels - it's true, but we took it as part of it's charm. We stayed in room 105 it had everything we needed; full size bed was on the firm side, clean with warm blankets, dresser had a small safe, bathroom with hot shower and they do have WiFi (there also a TV in the room, it felt out of place, we didn't use it) NO mini fridge though (so we brought our own cooler ) they also have secured parking but a few block down street. The staff are very helpful, none speak English, but tried very hard to help us with everything and the town is beyond amazing!
Note to hotel staff - please get rid of the ygly front desk and put a nise old wooden tabble in its place, with a nice chair!!! And please take down those Awful pictures of Maralin Monroe and replace them with old photos of your beautiful city! ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Great views from winow and balcony, friendly staff and good location. Negative: Terrible wi fi connection and very sketchy hot water in the shower. Room was quite cold at night and the space heater only partly worked to warm the room. The bathroom was always chilly..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Central location. Had a terrace with table and comfortable chairs. Reasonable wifi once we were given administration’s wifi password. It had a heater for chilly nights. Coffee is provided in lobby on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.. Negative: We had a ground level room with only a small window. We saw other rooms that were more spacious and had large windows..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean & centrally located. Parking a bit awkward. Comfy & economical. Good place to stay if you just want a "base" to explore the beautiful & historically interesting town. No food is served but that is not necessary. Plenty of local restaurants. Great bar with light music opposite with simple food & cottage industry beer. Steep step access but there are some ramps on the stairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Great hotel right in center of town. There is no parking at the hotel but they do help you to find parking. There is a cosey restaurant on the other side of the street with live music when we were there. Rooms are huge. It was quite cold at night but you werent cold when sleeping. No breakfast but they have coffee in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An Absolutely beautiful town...the town has kept it's traditional architecture and mining town feel brought by the English and Cornish original miners. You will feel like you traveled in time when you arrived in this beautiful town. Try the pastes at Pastes Don Fidel this place has been in business since 1940 or get a bit more adventurous and try a meal inside the Traditional Mercado you won't be disappointed the food is cooked when you ordered it...Walk around the town and get lost in this beautiful Magical Town. ?
