★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Real Rex hotel was different from what it looked like in all the pictures. The rooms and the general look of it was subpar especially from the pictures posted. The free breakfast provided was just coffee, toast, and water melon. It's very difficult to give this hotel a bad review due to the location. It was close to the central garden and a lot of stores/restaurants in a short walk. The staff was very friendly especially the room attendant. I would recommend this hotel if you're just looking for a place to stay cheap and don't want all the bells and whistles of an upscale hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ hotel is in a very good location but when you enter it is very neglected. The furniture in the rooms is old, the carpets with many stains, the bathroom had shampoo stains on the wall as they never clean the shower area. the air conditioner made a horrible noise like I had an airplane in my room. the people at the reception never greet you. Just for the location and the price but I will not stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great experience, it was my first time in Leon and I fell in love right away, I booked this hotel because I saw it on Expedia and I thought it was a good option and price as well, so once I was in there I knew a made a good decision because it's in downtown Leon, close to everything, bars, restaurants, stores, I feel like it was so convenient, my only problem was the bed lol, it wasn't as comfortable as I was hoping, ? but the service and people were friendly and helpful, when I asked them to move me to another room they did it right away, no questions asked!
I'd definitely go back because of my great experience, and I do recommend staying here. ??
