Hotel Real Tequila - 46400 Tequila

It's a good place to get a rest, and have a good nigth

Have stayed here a couple of times. A lovely, charming, family run hotel. Lots of cool things to take in.

Centrally located in Tequila. A short walk to see most of the township. Only stayed overnight. Our bathroom could have used some maintenance. Leaky plumbing leaving floor wet.

Worst stay ever. They promise you can pay by card and then they refuse to accept the payment, try to charge you even with the card comission and make you go to the bank even if it is not yours. The bed is super uncomfortable and they are so rude

THE GOOD:The rooms were clean, plenty off hot water for the shower. The room decor was really nice, nothing broken or tacky like wiring hanging out. THE BAD: They changed the price from the time we made reservations to the time we checked in by $250 pesos. They have a mini split A/C unit for each room, however none of them actually work. They blow air, but do not cool. There is a ceiling fan with only 2 settings slow and stop. The TV had horrible reception on every channel. Front desk service was difficult to find after checking in, When asking about the A/C or TV they disappeared and left the desk entirely. There is only two bath towels given at the deck when checking in. The bath towels are required upon check out. They say they take credit cards, but upon check in they will only take cash.

The location is really good, you can go to many restaurants and tequila tours without needing to drive, but that's when the problems start, the parking is very limited, if you manage to get a parking spot you can lose it if you drive out your car,in the room has several damaged areas, the AC controller was barely working, the door knobs where falling apart, the bed frame and the window blinds was also damaged. If you don't care about it is a good place to spend the night, but not that comfortable.
