Hotel Reef Yucatán - 97407 Telchac Puerto

For the price we paid we had high hopes for this hotel, but were very underwhelmed and disappointed. The room was small and the bathroom super basic. We had tons of mosquitoes in the room and I killed 2 gigantic cockroaches. We were also only supplied 2 towels even though we checked in with a family of four. The food was below average and the buffet was very disorganized. The service was poor. You constantly had to hunt down waiters to help you and a few times they completely forget to bring you your ordered drinks. The alcoholic beverage didn’t taste like they contained much alcohol, and they only had Tecate light as a beer option. The one thing I did enjoy was the entertainment. The crew tried hard to engage and were fun to interact with. We will definitely not return nor recommend this place to any of our friends. We live in Mérida so this was disappointing to say the least. I’d hoped this would be a great little weekend getaway spot for us.

amazing place our guide fluffy was great the drinks were on point they told us if they tasted week to tell the bar tender to not be shy and give it to us like a date on prom night jk no pressure from the vendors would go back in a heart beat

Truly enjoyed my stay at Reef Yucatan! Been traveling for years and never experience such wonderful hotel staff anywhere else. Service does make a huge difference when staying at a resort. The resort itself is beautiful and relaxing. Food and drinks are tasteful and plenty. The entertainment is superb! Overall, my most favorite place for vacation. Can only recommend!

Came here as part of a Carnival excursion. Good food, nice pool, tasty drinks, overall a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

Rustic hotel with very bad service, the food is not so bad, but only a few dishes to choose expend very fast. It should be called the HUNGER GAMES Hotel. No fridge, no safe, no hair dryer, no forniture in the balcony, not enough towels for the pool and also not enough dishes for the christmas dinner.

I didn't stay in the hotel, but accessed the resort as part of a cruise. I loved the service, and the resort was lovely. The beach is rocky here, so bring water shoes. It's stunning. I was only there a few hours and wanted to stay forever.

Loved this place. so full of friendly and service oriented people. The installations are not new, however os part of the charm. Rooms are large and well ventilated with central AC. The sunsets are fantastic too, make sure not to miss one. The food was ok, as some days the variety was better, IMO. Please note that the resort does not offer the service of baby cribs, however they have limited baby seats for some areas (around 4 I believe). they also have a kids club with several amenities and activities for the little ones. They do offer dance / disco in the evenings along with late afternoon snacks too in another venue, in the same hotel. Me and my family had a great experience here, can't wait to be there again!

This is an excellent option to spend a couple days in the beach that is close to Merida. Service is really good just from the moment you do the check in and then in the restaurant and all your stay. As this is an all inclusive you can have buffets in breakfast lunch and dinner. This place have everything you need to have some vacation days. I really recommend this place for the service you get, all the staff are willing to make you enjoy your vacations.
