★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simple hotel with clean, quiet rooms (except for the rooster in back that wakes you up at 5 am) and friendly staff. Within walking distance to town plaza/church, restaurants , and the lake (although I recommend taking a cab back to the hotel from the lake for 50-70 pesos because it's all uphill from the lake). Hotel has Wi-Fi but not internet so don't expect internet service.

This is a traditional Mexican hotel. You will find that the beds are a bit hard, the water pressure is low and the hot water is usually warm but not hot. It is a good economical choice.
