Hotel Rio Lagartos - 97720 Río Lagartos

Very nice and new hotel next to the shore. There is an outdoors pool from where you have a great view of the coast. All the rooms have views to the sea and you get to see amazing sky colours.

I made reservations for a group. I did not stay here and only ate in the restaurant. The hotel is decent, clean and offers comfortable rooms. The loss in stars is because the hotel has no wheelchair accessible rooms. All rooms are on the second floor and above. The restaurant was out several items on the memu and the service was slow.

The staff were friendly and courteous the pool was not clean and the cost of a suite was over priced would not choose this hotel again

We stayed only one night but this was the best decision we made during our two weeks travels. This hotel is a great deal for a small budget. The hotel is quite new and provides anything you can ask for in this small town. Best feature is the pool bar and the private pier. Take a rest from your travels and check in here...you will love it!

Very cute hotel with a beautiful rooftop and swimming pool area (however very cold). It definitely is the best hotel in the area, but as so many hotels in Mexico, the maintenance and restaurant service is terribly poor. Don't get me wrong, people are adorable, they just are untrained and run around like chicken without any heads. It will take you 45 min to get your lunch served (with the hotel empty), and about as much for breakfast, they will serve you your food before serving drinks, they would forget to bring cutlery, sugar, yogurt, milk, half of the order... and the list goes on. Don't know if you have to laugh about it, or feel bad for the staff.

This place is awesome and it was perfect to spend my birthday!!! They decorated my room with happy birthday stuff... The staff hotel was very nice at all moments, they welcomed us with champagne. We had dinner in the little palapa they have next to the river and the food was really good. The view and the sunset were awesome!!!

Trendy hotel with pool, restaurant, room service. Shout out to Gabi for helping settle us in. Be aware that handicapped facilities are not available. You can roll into the lobby/restaurant. From there the staff made a ramp to get us to the pool area. We had to lift to get to the dock and to any of the rooms. There are no ground floor guest rooms. The staff helped lift the scooter up to the first floor, from there we were able to wheel around. We had 2 suites. They we're comfortable enough. For some reason the hotel has the king size bed in the back bedroom, away from the view and balcony. We were on the side of the hotel with a new public playground. Children were using it loudly until midnight both night. Bring ear plugs. The sceptic system can't take paper and the trash cans didn't have kids, so expect the bathroom to smell. For what it is, very nice.

This place was so perfect. Breathtaking views from the roof, the dock, and the room balcony! The people who worked here were very kind and helpful- beyond belief... the food was delicious, the pool is beautiful, the grounds are well kept. Hot water in the shower. There was even an astronomer on the roof that showed me the stars and the moon.. My only regret is not staying longer.
