j	jon won-ton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was great. I feel the rooms and building are in for a remodel. The food is not as good as riu 2 properties down. If the food was up to par I would definitely hold it at a 4 star. Still had a great time though
R	Rossana Ferrer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and service! The employees are the best! The pools are a bit small for the size of the hotel and can get busy. If your neighbors are noisy you will have trouble sleeping. Other than that everything was perfect.

Mini fridge fully stocked in the room. Staff were amazing and food was great. Far from Puerto Vallarta about $40 US round trip. The beach was clean, no rocks and I loved the palm trees for shade. I would stay here again as it was very quiet and relaxed, disco for the party goers and tranquility for the rest.

T	Troy Barnes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Riu Jalisco is a great 3.5 star. The beach with the palms are superb. The grounds and hotel have their moments even as dated as they are especially at dawn and dusk. Although with a mature hotel comes beautiful old palms and a great piece of beach and a well trained staff. Food is probably average for Mexican buffet and there are a few black outs on when food is available (around 430-630pm). Very relaxed good vibes and pretty good for kids.
L	Lakeya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The service at the hotel was PHENOMENAL! The people at check in, the restaurant staff and the staff for activities were the absolute best! The lobby and halls were also kept very clean. Negative: The rooms were outdated with mold and roaches. The bathroom does not have a door. The shower water did not drain and had to be fixed. This hotel has the potential to be great, but the rooms made the visit less pleasurable.

The service was good, the food quality was better then expected, and great security. It is a family resort so expect many kids. Bring ear plugs if you want a nap around the pool area or sit in your balcony in the evening. If you want a more adult location, resource one of the other locations. I’m not a all-inclusive resort type person but did enjoy my stay here.
V	Van Em on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are very outdated. There's 3 outlets in the room however they are directly beside light switches so the phone charger boxes block the switches. The shower took 4 minutes to get to hot water then switched between hot and cold. It also didn't drain. Can't complain about the taste of the food or the service. It was pretty good at meal Time. HOWEVER, they are terrible for allergies. They literally listed everything as having gluten in it - rice, the eggs, plain chicken... But didn't properly label it on items where it was very clear it had it. Customer service was a joke - we contacted the hotel multiple times for a lower level room and with a crib... And got neither and they said they had no notes on file about it. The worst was that they didn't enforce rules for the locals staying there so there were children splashing everywhere in the adult pool.
