★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfectly comfortable hotel with great prices. Beds were great, our room was clean, shower was small but adequate, slight smell of the city's air quality/exhaust but not much to do about that. We walked a couple blocks for a great breakfast at the Grand Hotel which no one should miss. Easy walk to the Zocalo. Would definitely stay at Hotel Roble again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My room had only windows opening to the building's ventilation shaft, facing the other similar rooms' windows, therefore airing the room was difficult. But the hotel is well located and cheap. Beds are comfy. Due to new year, the restaurant was closed in the afternoon and did not serve either dinner or breakfast the next day. That was a bummer for me. But I think unless you are there over christmas or new years, that would not be a problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel in good location near to zocalo. It’s a safe street. The rooms are basic but importantly clean and bigger then most other rooms in similar hotels. It’s not super fancy but will do the job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and friendly staff. The location and the room for the price was excellent! The only draw back is that Google maps shows the hotel right at the Zocalo and they are not. Took me forever to find the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value for the price. Clean sheets and towels everyday. Excellent customer service. Excellent location. Very comfortable bed and small room. Cold AC, hot water in the shower, run like a professional hotel. My only small comment is that the TV doesn’t have any English speaking channels, but I’m assuming that’s pretty common here. Otherwise, excellent place to stay if you’re touring the historic district!
