Hotel Romance - 58000 Morelia

Looking for great small hotel? Don't look more! This is the one! Only 8 rooms, clean, beautiful, great service, free internet, walking distance to everywhere, and includes breakfast! Not continental, real breakfast. Love it!

We found the rooms of this hotel really nice. The design is clean and absent of clutter. It is nicely located close to the "Callejon del Romance" that is the relation with the name. Alley of Romance is full of nice restaurants and it is really pretty. Closeby there is the "Calzada de Fray Antonio" which is a gorgeous 100% pedestrian avenue where people go to take their weedings or Sweet 15 pictures. Closeby there is Therai a nice garden with all kinds of Teas in an old house. It is also close to the "Arcos" and the "Fuente de Tarascas". Overall is centered between the Arcos and the Francisco I Madero Street. The Plaza is closeby in a nice walk. You do not need to stay in front of the Plaza, this is a better value and more quiet. It is also quiet because all rooms have windows facing the Patio. It is an old style Spanish Patio with a preserved Orange Tree. You will find that they also make Chocolate in the traditional regional style. It is delicious. I found this place a hidden gem. It is not crowded because it is a "newish" hotel only 18 months old. For a night we had the hotel for ourselves and the service was splendid!

I love this hotel! The staff are so helpful, the rooms a comfy, and the breakfast is very tasty. Can't wait to go back.

I stayed here for three nights, a few months before the pandemic started. It was my first time in Morelia, and I visited for the weekend during a business trip to DF. The stay was perfect - the staff was really knowledgeable about the area and helpful. The room was not only spotless but very tastefully decorated. The hotel is definitely an urban oasis, and it's located within walking distance to a park and loads of bars and restaurants. I found it competitively priced. I'll definitely spend a weekend here again next time I'm in DF for work.

Stylish, cosy & friendly hotel in breath-taking Morelia I stayed in Hotel Romance for a long week end and I was delighted to discover this hidden gem. The rooms are stylish, quiet and functional, the service impeccable, the staff friendly and the location really good, vibrant but safe. I really enjoyed sipping a coffee in the morning either in the bar chatting with the staff, or in the inner courtyard in the morning sun. Highly recommended!

Hotel is clear and very modern. Located near historic center with walking distance to most things. Jesus was great at check-in and Brenda and Claudia were excellent and attentive at check-out and breakfast. Look forward to coming back soon.
