Hotel Rossy is a quaint hotel just minutes from La Ropa beach. It's has it's own bar that secretly serves the best drinks in all of Zihuatanejo, to go!

One of the better places to get seafood on la ropa. You'd think they would all be good, but no this one really stands out. Get the fish talla style.

A 200 peso hotel that charges minimum 700. No hot water, internet only in the lobby, a bit dirty, drinking water only by the jug in the lobby, a pool full of pee. Nice balconies though, if you don’t fall over the low railing. Popular with country Mexicans who think they’ve died and gone to heaven. It is probably better than sleeping on a cantina floor. A morning rephrase. This is a 100 peso hotel that passes itself off as a 200 peso hotel but charges a minimum of 700. The beds are awful, I think they bought these dirty, beaten up mattresses used somewhere, the sheets are worn out and the pillows like rocks. Still no hot water and unlikely to see any since the propane tank is empty and there is one 30 gallon tank for 60 rooms. Pretty place but it’s like a cake with icing made from toothpaste and hollow inside.

The hotel has a great view at night of all the beautiful city lights..but I really didn't enjoy my stay..worst part is the bathroom..it's open..it doesn't have walls when you shower, so all the water goes everywhere and it gets so hot in there. Yes, you can open up windows but they don't have a screen..so if you're changing in the bathroom, you can't open the window because people will see you while they're walking by. Also, the room service ladies eat lunch in the outdoor table and chairs right outside (like 2 ft from the bedroom door) and they are just not enjoying their job? they eat, they complain and complain to their coworkers and they get annoyed and talk smack to their coworkers when they see you doing something by the pool..don't even get my started with the ant infestation..they're half or the size of a penny! they're on the walls, in your bed, and all over your room hiding. Plus the pool is really slippery. The service is bad, if you don't bring your own stuff, like towels, shampoo, blankets to protect yourself from the disgusting hard bed and ants, you'll really regret your stay. I mean, they leave 2 medium sized towels but they are the THINNEST thing you'll ever see, and they also leave a bar of soap (smaller than the palm of your hand) that leaves your skin so grainy and definitely not smooth... If you're gonna stay in that area, go to the actual hotel zone where they are connected to the beach. You have to walk a block down to get to the beach..there's truck parking down that street and they leave their trash and I guess pee there too because it stinks.
