We booked it as it was the only available option in the small city/village of Akumal for our dates, it turned out to be one of the most comfortable stays during our 4-week Yucatan trip. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was super comfy and the aircon was working perfectly fine. There is a small but nice pool, grocery stores just around the corner and it took us 10-15 minutes to walk to the Akumal beach - no need to take the overpriced taxi, the walk was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was no hot water, cold water was with very low pressure, one day there was no water at all.
In room almost there was no furniture, even no chair and bedside table, no coffee machine or kettle, no plates, cups. Loud music from bar just under window whole nights.
Most terrible was that my very important medicine for eyes was stolen there.
Owner made also big stresses and troubles to me during check out, disturbing and hurrying me before due time and preventing to pack stuff, that caused big problems.
And owner made also fraud, sent false information to agoda booking service, that I canceled reservation while I didn't cancel and lived there 3 nights, he asked me to pay him directly.
