★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry but your better of staying at the hotel Olivia. Atleast they don't have cockroaches but do have hot water unlike hotel San Carlos. If you want to struggle with Wi-Fi and hard beds then this hotel is right for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After walking across the international border, Hotel San Carlos is about a two block walk. The rate for me was about $26 including tax and was very clean and well maintained. It wasn't a problem for me, but I didn't see any elevators. The one drawback was a strip club across the street that would play booming loud music later in the evening. For the price and cleanliness, I will stay again on my next trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, clean rooms and hallways, felt safe staying there. Cable TV gets Phoenix channels too. Can set audio to english on cable networks. Nice pillows! The rose scented soap is a south of the border indulgence. Can't complain about the rates and nicely located by nightlife hotspots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was nice clean. And quiet! I had issues when I first got there because I called ahead saying I was coming late. But the front desk said they could not guarantee my room! Wich I got really mad because I had a reservation. But at the end it was cleared by the manager
