Personal muy amable. Por el precio excelente opción si tú idea es solo ir a descansar y seguir explorando el lugar. .
Very friendly staff. For the price, an excellent option if your idea is to just go to rest and continue exploring the place. .

It is ok to save money and to stay a night after your climb or prior to your climb on Izta ... Right in down town of Amecameca

I liked this place, for me it's quite, peaceful, relaxing away from the city. Might not be a Five or Ten star hotels, but for me is fine. Walking distance 1.5 hours there is two places, stone rabbit, and the valley of dragonflies. You make 3 hours go and back.

Good value for money. The staff is super friendly, helpful and attentive! And the location is right on the Zocalo and next to the Popo / Itza park office. The hotel itself is very outdated, expect the least and then it’s fine. It is not very clean, although the beds are fine, but some of the bathrooms have a lot of mold for example. Just ask if you can see if another room is available, they don’t mind. In the end, à 180 pesos for 1 night (room without a TV) is for budget backpackers muy bueno! Oh it’s rather noisy, but if you come to hike the Itza mountain you wake up early anyway ?

We stayed for 2 nights around a day hike to Izta. Loved this place for the convenience and the price (180MXN/night cash only for a basic private "sencilla", there was an option for a nicer room). Felt pretty empty and private on a weekday visit, the staff was professional and friendly, we communicated in Spanish. A little run down and not exactly spotless but comfortable for us hikers. The only quirk was that our room didn't have a shower curtain and no towels, plus the only working outlet was in the shower. But not a huge issue for us with out budget backpacker standards, and for the price would stay again in a heartbeat. We were able to catch a taxi up to Izta around 6 or 7am at the Zocalo the next morning for 300 pesos.
