There are significant NOISE ISSUES in certain parts of the hotel - Particularly rooms facing the front entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beautiful classic Colonial style, very friendly and welcoming staff. On site restaurant. Reliable in room wifi.
The Neighnorhood at night becomes very "sketchy'. I would not recomment single female guests. Five neighborhood bars within block - VERY noisy on weekends.
Please be aware that this hotel has significant NOISE ISSUES in certain rooms. Especially rooms overlooking the little plaza and rooms around the front courtyard - they overlook the hotel restaurant. Front desk staff speak reliable English, rest of staff... not so much.

This is one of my all time favorite Mexican hotels. The classic colonial charm reflects historical character seldom found in other hotels. The staff is also very welcoming. It is always a pleasure to stay here.
The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are modernized.
There is an on site restaurant that offers a full buffet breakfast every morning for a very reasonable price.
My only note of concern. The rooms along the front of the hotel open onto a small public square which can get a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. If this is an issue for you, just ask for a quieter room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean... and comfortable if talking about the rooms, which seemed to have been sanitizied!!! The people at the main desk are polite!!!! Nice place... YET their restaurant ? is simply NOT worthy.
There is no one, not a stewardess, not a Stewart who could help stablish an order for people to get a table... the tables outside are dampened because of the rain, which makes your staying uncomfortable to eat.
