El lugar es muy bonito ... Tiene unas vistas increíbles del lugar . Aunque tal vez por la temporada en la que nos tocó visitarlo no pude disfrutar de todos los servicios que ofrece. Aún así ,.. es un muy buen lugar.
The place is very beautiful... It has incredible views of the place. Although perhaps due to the season in which we had to visit it, I was not able to enjoy all the services it offers. Still, it's a very good place.

It's a nice hotel but it was very expensive compared to the size and what they offer in the rooms. Breakfast in the same way without problem you can have breakfast cheaper in the town. In addition, on one occasion they entered the room without asking if we were there. The location is good and the view is the same.

Very personal touch. They really care about their community and are a family that has lived there for generations. They have a cute little museum too.

We stayed in the double suite with 2 matrimonial beds and with a private terrace for 2 nights diring the Easter weekend. I had contacted the hotel directly to book this particular room , paying 50% deposit by bank transfer . I would have preferred a king plus single as we travelled with a child but such a configuration is not available. The view from the terrace certainly did not disappoint. Although in the afternoons and evenings, all view was obscured by clouds and fog, early in the mornings, it was a wonderful direct view to the cerro cabezon. The location is just a street away from the pretty zocalo. However these were the only good things that I could say. For a price of 1395 mxn per night that does not include breakfast, the room was rather small and the bathroom even tinier. The matrimonial bed is quite a tight fit for 2 adults. Insulation was nearly non existent and the cold seeped in through the gaps in all the doors and windows. If April is this col, I can only imagine how it would be in wi ter. Better to carry own small space heater if possible. And indoor slippers too, the floor is cold as ice. Heavy blankets were provided but they were in layers that kept sliding off, one has to keep adjusting them throughout the night. Added to the cold and the small bed, was the barking and howling contests between the stray dogs of the locality, even during the night. And an occasional cow mooing along with a rooster that starts crowing at 4 am, not ideal for light sleepers. The shower was not too bad and the hot water was adequate, one needs to bring own hair drier. The wifi was rather erratic, sometimes good enough to stream videos on some devices whereas at most other times and on most devices, nearly no reception. Telcel postpaid 4G signal was good in the area though. The rooms are built along the side of a hill, the entrance reception and restaurant being right at the top. So one has to to go down dozens of steps to reach one’s room. This was not a problem unless one carries a lot of luggage, it is quite a strain to carry them back up. Also there isn’t enough space in the room to keep or open large luggage. The parking is a bit limited. The orchidarium on site did not have sny orchids in bloom at this time. We did not explore the onsite museum or massage services. The locally made chocolates available are rather expensive at 15mxn per tiny praline. For breakfast i would recommend El mural restaurant at the zocalo and for lunch, Cafe colonial. All in all, the view was phenomenal but one could have it for free on the street behind or from the zocalo.
