No water no elevator no restroom. Broken plumbing a/c unit is too small and it turns off by itself and room wont get cold enough. Unnacceptable. The 1 star is for the bed that is in fair condition i slept over the bed sheets because i was afraid thet they were not clean enough. And also they offer cable service.

I've stayed 2 times at this hotel, and it actually changed names. But is always an excellent option. First, is one of the few hotels with parking included, since Puebla is such a small city, if you bring a car, you'll have a bad time finding parking, or even a hotel with parking, so this one presents a magnificent option. Second, the hotel is just steps away from every major touristic spot, and in a very safe area. Finally, you have a restaurant just across the street and a couple more just one block away, overall is a great place to stay

Stayed two nights in a very clean, well-kept room. The combination A/C-heater worked after i figured-out that the power button on the remote attached to the wall had to be long-pressed. The nights were chilly and other guests complained of cold rooms. If you're here in the winter make sure your heater works and you know how to operate it. Reception staff generally seem to speak some English, though don't expect that with housekeeping. The pool area was closed as was the elevator, so guests expecting those amoenities should avoid staying here until renovations are complete. The hot water was barely better than warm, and other guests i was traveling with said it turned cold quickly. If you're sensitive to noises i recommend avoiding the room i was in, 307, and also rooms 107, 207, and any others sharing a wall with the semi-cantilevered metal stairs in the promenade. These ring like a muted drum with each passing footfall. A clever engineer could address this issues with some damping, i imagine, but for now weekends with late night traffic can be rough. I would personally pick a less centrally located, cheaper place, but if you can live with or avoid the drawbacks i've mentioned, you may prefer being just one block from the corner of the beautiful Zócalo. Hotel San Pedro is an impressive building and promises to be very nice once the pool, hot tub, and terrace are open. The inward-facing balconies many rooms have could give it a really festive, sheltered enclave feeling in warm weather with pool/garden activity.

Giving it a 2 star only because of the location. The hotel publishes many things in their website, but once you arrive they do not have the mentioned amenities. First of all, parking is "available" if it is not full (it is only valet parking service), then you have to pay and leave the car somewhere else. The hotel is very outdated, the pictures on their website do not show how old it is. The outside pool obviously is not heated, and the mentioned :outdoor jacuzzi" is not functional. We stayed in the junior suite and the jacuzzi is really small, there was no alarm clock and no bath robes, even doh it said the room included these. Also there is a lack of hot water to shower. Please look somewhere else as the location is great, however, it is extremely expensive. Finally please check you are billed correctly, they were billing us more than what the reservation was initially booked for. Be aware and avoid it.

Most of our experience here was alright... Comfortable beds, closeness to touristic attractions, kind staff members... But what really ruined our stay was that there was no hot water on the shower and the water would stop running all of sudden mid-bath. The staff did address the issue, but it was absolutely unpleasant. We will not return in the future.

The one star is for the not-rock-hard bed and decent towels. The hotel is very dilapidated. The first room I was given was terrible (stains on bedspread, broken alarm clock--literally in pieces--dusty, toothpaste splatter on mirror in bath). I was moved to another room which was an improvement, although the safe did not work and I couldn't turn on the air conditioning. There is construction everywhere, the pool area looks like a run-down truck stop, and you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing, and smoking. They also have a weird habit of knocking on your door at 8:00am, presumably to get in and clean. There are much better places to stay near the zócalo at similar prices.

Room was very cozy and with a great view even for the cheap price we got, however it got too hot at night and their AC did not cut it, shower was nice but tiny. I'd give this place a 3 stars but their employees really push it to the top, everyone was very nice and willing to help at all times (I asked for cutlery at almost midnight and they brought to my room in less than 5 min, thank you so much) would stay again just for the service

Rooms are okay but service is awful - staff is very unhelpful..
