★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service over all. You can't control the temperature of the rooms. TVs dont work. There is no información on how to call reception. Only one key for the two of us staying in the room. The food is very limiting and merely average. No vegan alternatives what so ever. Would not recomend.

1 star because hot water is available ONLY very early in Morning. We arrived mid-day after a long trip and we were unable to use hot water to freshen up. They first told us that they will fix it and sent a person that just turned on hot faucet. He asked if the cooler than lukewarm water was ok. NOT. We asked Gor different room and were told they all have same hot water source and denied our request. The lies are bad but the fundamental problem of no hot water is major deficiency for this supposedly upscale hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service, the rooms are not the newest but are clean. If you're used to hotels in the USA and their amenities, I would say you are getting a 3.5 star hotel (within this area I would say it's a 4 star); the staff is great and hotel is defenitly one of better ones in the area. The price was good at around $50. They have a full bar and great restaurant. You can go cheaper at other hotels in this area but many things will exponentially drop (No hot water, faulty foucets, dirty hallways, deteriorating walls) or pay more and not obtain much more than what you can get here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Mexican food and service at the Hotel restaurant. Food cost is not included in the price of the hotel. I was surprised that the room had no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker. I would have given it four stars were it not for those things. The rooms are showing age but are quite comfortable and a bit roomy. We stayed four days and the atmosphere by our rooms were always quite and peaceful.

Friendly staff make you feel welcome and they serve their own wine chosen by wine spectator as one of the world’s top ten. They own their own vineyard and winery at another great hotel in the Ballderama chain. Excellent food and fabulous serving staff. All this and many speak English which was so helpful. Thanks from two Canadian travellers
