★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the Hotel Soria, and give it 4 stars not because it is a four-star hotel, but because it meets my basic needs for an overnight hotel - it is clean, comfortable, secure, has comfortable beds with big pillows, satellite TV, quiet mini-split air conditioners, great WiFi (the best I've found in any hotel I've stayed at in the area) and abundant hot water. Depending on the location of your room you may hear some background traffic noise, but that's the case for all of the hotels along this road - and the Soria Norte costs as little as half the price of the others. In the morning you can stop by the room behind the reception area for a cup of coffee, cereal and pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). Recommended for budget travelers who want to save their money so they can buy more things in Alamos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to sleep on the floor because it was really hot at night and the floor was really cool, the air conditioner was low and I couldn't make the room cooler. The great thing about is the floor is comfy too so I had a good night sleep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wifi connection is not stable at all. It connects for a few minutes at a time. Because we are traveling we don’t have a local phone service, hence, having wifi for my kids to decompress after a 12 hour drive would of been nice. When I spoke to the receptionist about it, she wasn’t much help. Basically, it is what it is.
Other guest play loud music in the parking lot, can’t sleep. They should have set guest rules.
We usually stay next door at Hotel Del Río but it was booked.
We just wanted to relax a bit after a long day of driving & sleep for the next days drive.
We won’t be staying here again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First-time tv controls were not working. No tissue, one toilet paper roll, only 2 towels given, none for the slippering floor, no shower door, water gets out to the whole bathroom. Unable to totally close all the front window curtain.
