They have a nice setup at the end of the street so you don't hear any traffic and everything is nearby in the downtown area.

Nice hotel in the heart of the city , such a nice cocktails menu and beautiful terrace , during the weekend they open the bar in the terrace with bbq or some other snacks , you will love it .

Bed bugs! The hotel location and service is great. Sadly as of 14.02.21 my room had bed bugs (see pictures) which ruined my experience. The guy at the reception handled it professionally, however obviously I cannot recommend this hotel given my experience and have to give it a 1 star review. It is too bad as I looked forward to staying several nights.

I liked this place. All staff, but one were very helpful and pleasant. The night staff was excellent. If you are sensitive to noise, you may have issues. I just used earplugs, but even then there was an amorous couple next door that was annoying until early am one night. The location is excellent and the room was a generally a good value. However the church bells next door will get you up and going even if you are not ready! Sound comes from all places-- air shaft, lobby, street, etc.

Do not recommend this hôtel at all, when we arrived, during our check in we found out that in order to use the pool we had to pay an extra 250 pesos per person, we had reserved online and nowhere in our confirmation it stated that the use of the swimming pool was extra. I asked to speak to the manager to résolve this situation and his response was it's like this and if you don't like it take it up with booking, simply à very rude person and most of all not à great manager. In our room we realised that one of the windows didn't lock so we requested for this to be fixed and the answer was no... we had not choice but to stay since it was already late but do not recommend this place at all. They advertise that they have parking and that also is à lie.

This was not a comfortable stay for me. The bed was very hard, the bathroom unclean and the room was quite noisy. On the plus side: breakfast was ok. Good location to explore the city, but difficult to reach by car, and there is no parking.

Great value for price, tasty breakfast Pluses: Very good location, in the city center, yet with no bigger street next to it. Breakfast - perfect size and mix of western and traditional Mexican - probably the best chilaquiles I have eaten during this trip. Staff - there is a problem with our original room and they provided us with a new one. Nice view from terrace. Minuses: Original room - there was no window in the bathroom, thus the whole room smelled of humidity and felt humid, the flush was broken and when I opened it, I had noticed that this was the source of the smell: the staff assured me that it would be fixed. The hotel advertises itself together with the spa; yet none of the facilities are for free for the guest, in order to use saunas and pool, you need to buy extra package, I think it should be mentioned somewhere (maybe it is, but simply I did not notice it)

Im giving them one star because there is no negative numbered star. arrived At 6:30 am for the kids to use the lobby restroom, at that time Abraham told me the people from day shift made the mistake of not including my three kids. He said don't worry, since the room was paid for and up to six guests could sleep there, the girls from the day shift had to fix that. He told us to come back at 12, when we came back at 12, i was told that i had to pay 4500 pesos in addition to the almost 9000 pesos. All the other hotels were listing the same rooms for the same number of guests for around the same money, they just wanted to take advantage of the situation and make more money. Very inhuman. They left us with no place to stay just because of their avaricious business practice. They rented out the same suite to someone else and still penalize me. I booked with priceline and received confirmation from priceline, priceline tells me to contact booking com, their partner, The casa del sol hotel would have not lose anything by letting my kids, dad and I stay for 9000 for the junior suite with terrace, that what others in the area would have charged me. But they were mean to the point of leaving us with no place to stay. Certainly they dont care about kids. They are also misleading about the pool, they charge 250 for anybody to use it.. just a very, very, very bad customer service, I cannot describe enough our feelings of anger and sadness for the trouble their greediness and insensitivity is causing us.
