★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible old place to stay in need of major repairs hot tube controls are wired out exposed, carpets in the room dirty and smelly, weekend brunch personal was great today s breakfast terrible cold coffee ,waiter gave us terrible attitude, the spa one tiny room inside the gym with very limited services.
Look at the pictures this is one of the best hotels offered in Zacatecas imagine the rest..... Expensive horrible stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Master Suite room 141, i was placed in was horrible. The carpet was filthy, the bathroom smelled of mildew and i could smell the sewer. The bedding smelled so horrible, i could smell the tobacco at every inch. I could not stay one night and i was not refunded. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Very poor service. Very outdated and not clean at all. The train that passes by is very loud. Parties all night. Guest stumbling around drunk. If you are looking for a place to relax, this hotel is not it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was overall amazing with amazing dining and staff. I will say The gym was very lacking compared to the pictures tho. They have 2 45 plates and 2 35 plates. Hope this helps anyone who choses hotels based off gym photos like me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not my favorite experience. The toilet, sink and shower did not drain properly. The mattress was like a rock. The food we had for dinner was very good. The breakfast was just ok. I'm not a fan of buffet breakfast as I tend to eat less than most. The hotel needs a complete workover.

The Hotel Spa Baruk is one of those near-perfect travel hotels to use as a stopover on the way from southern Mexico to the US border.
Located close to the main thoroughfares past Zacatecas, it's an easy in and out, without having to travel into the city itself.
Rooms are spacious, extremely well equipped, and scrupulously clean. Service is warm and welcoming, and the nightly prices are frankly outstanding for a hotel of this quality.
That said, the Baruk does have one major drawback. It's located close to a railway line, and the 4:22 freight train to god-knows-where blows its whistle loud enough to wake the dead.
Other than that the place id near perfect.
Pro-Tip: Bring ear plugs and you'll be fine.
